If you are looking for a clean place, that’s not it. I don’t think they ever clean the bathroom in female dorm, I think they just forgot that it exists. You won’t find anything cheapier tho. So you get what you pay for.

Very smelly rooms. So I opened the window, only to be told to move to another room because ”everyone is cold” even though no cleaning, no air circulation was carried out during the day (20+ Celsius degrees. ) There was an American guy working in Asuncion that reported me to the lady, I think. A resident of the hostel. Residents first. My new room had no lights. So I complained. The lady manager gestured to fix it. But I only found out that it's been broken for a long time. Schlimmstes Hostel auf meiner ganzen Südamerika-Reise! Total heruntergekommen, dreckig, ungemütlich, weit weg vom Zentrum. Nur zwei Bäder (Dusche + WC) für das ganze Hostel - davon nur eine mit Warmwasser. Keine Seife vorhanden zum Händewaschen. Betten im 18er-Raum viel zu niedrig, man kann nicht aufrecht sitzen. Zigarettengestank und -rauch im Gemeinschaftsbereich. Keine Empfehlung! Habe nach wenigen Stunden wieder ausgecheckt.

Minha estadia no Hostal Paradiso foi incrível, me senti em casa. O local é perto do centro antigo, próximo a mercado, ponto de ônibus, etc. A atmosfera é acolhedora e todos são solícitos. Com certeza regressarei.
After down payment and arrived there, the place was overbooked. No room available. So we found annähernd place, closed to IT. Casa Mosaiko.
Die Zimmer sind nicht so hell und freundlich wie auf den Bildern und einige der Möbel wirken etwas gebraucht, aber alles darin ist sauber. Die Anwesenden waren freundlich aber leider wenig kontaktfreudig. Ich habe jede Information bekommen, nach der ich gefragt habe. Nachdem ich mich etwas orientiert hatte, konnte ich auch die wirklich zentrumsnahe Lage schätzen. Und der Innenhof ist einfach eine schöne grüne Oase!
Booked 6 bed dorm w bath, doesn't exist, got 21 bed dorm triple bunks w barely enough room to get in and out. Only cold shower. Lounge area only outside, open kitchen, just 1 hot plate, 1 pan, 2 pots. Didn't see sheets and blankets getting changed, washed between guests. They also hosted a number of couch surfers, which is weird. Payment cash only. It's cheap, though.
STAFF TALKING VERY LOUD PAST 2AM IN LOUNGE, NEXT TO OUR BEDROOM. I KINDLY ASKED FOR SOME QUIETNESS, 3 TIMES, BUT THEY IGNORE ME AND CONTINUE TALKING/LAUGHING THROUGH THE NIGHT, SO I COULD NOT SLEEP. NO HOT WATER, MANY MOSQUITOS IN ROOM. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. POOR STAFF ATTITUDE.
El personal un 10. Muy buena onda. Lo único que debo decir es que en esta app me ofrecieron una habitación compartida de seis camas, pero cuando llegué había 8 camas.
Buen lugar para unos dias. Bella casona bien ubicada en el casco historico
El hostal Paradiso es bastante basico ,pero limpio y localizado en una muy buena posicion. el anfitrion David es muy amable .
