very nice hostel that almost felt like a resort! huge property with lots of chilling areas. yoga classes were awesome and convenient. great views of the lake :)

Best value for money hostel I have stayed in in Guatemala. Breakfast + tea/coffee included, the breakfast was good too. Amazing lake views with private lakeside area was the best thing about this hostel. Very short walk to the nature reserve where you can swim in the water. Dorm was very basic but the sheets were clean. Bathroom in dorm could have been cleaner but was still fine. Showers were hot. They provided a towel, you just needed 100 quetzales deposit which you got back at checkout.

Super cozy Hostel mit einer tollen Lage direkt am See, Sonnendeck, Yoga-Angeboten, gutem Frühstück (inkl.) und einer schönen Dachterasse mit tollem Ausblick über den See! Die Zimmerausstattung ist in Ordnung, Badezimmer sehr rudimentär, kleine Locker, nur Wolldecken und sporadische Vorhänge an den Betten. Aber der Female Dorm ist ziemlich gut und ruhig gelegen :-) ich hab die entspannte Atmosphäre sehr genossen und problemlos um eine Nacht verlängern können

Two staff members made the experience wonderful, guided me ask over town, good food and vibes. Arlene is her name I think, I honestly forget but she recorded a spot for pad Thai, it was delicious!

Staff war super nett und hilfsbereit. Essen war lecker, Lage direkt am See. Preis Leistung war allerdings fragwürdig. Trotz fast 50 Euro die Nacht war das Einzelzimmer sehr muffig, das Bad schimmelig und überall Ameisen.

Super hostel! Prachtige plek en vriendelijk personeel. Heel blij mee.

The Mixed Dorm (9beds) is directly next to the street and very loud. Everything else, also the food and the location are nice :)

Nice hostel on the water, easy to get to from the main pier in San Marcos (less than 10 min walk). Breakfast was so good and there are a lot of yoga classes and other things that you can be apart of for a little extra. Room was very basic but fine.

Lovely hostel with amazing view of the lake. Lovely staff and delicious free breakfast. It was a bit of a walk to the main strip and my bed was a bit rickety

My private room was pretty grim for the amount it cost. It was dusty and the bed was uncomfy and there was one light that was the ugliest fluorescent white light and it was barely bright enough. The staff was super unfriendly, specifically the British blondish woman. She was incredibly rude, practically rolling her eyes at me when I asked how does early check out work. Overall I would never stay here again, it didnt feel welcoming at all

Unfortunately I didn’t get to experience this hostel or San Marcos in the way I wanted to. I ended up getting very ill while I was there. However I will say that the staff and everyone. there was so helpful offering to go out and get me electrolytes, making sure that I had clean bedding and giving me directions to a free clinic! I personally wouldn’t have chosen to stay in San Marcos if I knew the vibe of the town it was just different… but the staff was so kind to me while I was there and...

Me quedé en ma habitación compartida femenina y fue una buena experiencia, el ambiente es muy tranquilo, hay clases de yoga y las vistas al lago hermosas. El desayuno está incluido y es delicioso

Pros: The vibe in this hostel is quite amicable, chill and relax, the breakfast is delicious and it is a good value for money. 💖 The biggest con: They charge for water refills, I didn’t experience this in any of my other hostels so I would like to warn others about this, the lockers in the rooms were quite small.

Great place, but dorms are really loud, streeet is next to the dorm “Nariz” and could not sleep well The staff was really nice 🫶🏼

This hostel has a lovely lakefront area, yoga space, sauna, decking as well as a rooftop restaurant that is often busy. Showers are separate to bedrooms but hot water and just a short walk. My stay was tainted by my clothes being stolen from the washing line, but some of the staff were extremely helpful. You have to pay for water but not too expensive.

Absolutely stunning! The staff are so kind and the location is right on the lake. The 8-bed mixed dorm is near the street, but if you bring a pair of ear plugs it will be fine. The other dorms/rooms are tucked further back in much quieter locations. Also, both free breakfast options are amazing!! Absolutely recommend this place :)

We absolutely loved it here. Great energy, friendly staff, and perfect lakeside location.

Stayed in a private room, and it was a bit dirty. And the bed was hard as a rock. We’re also in room #1 which was next to a alley and there were people walking there all night being loud and waking us up
