beds too small, 3 beds pilled on each others, kitchen is just a microwave, overall dirty and smelly. if you don't believe me, check the comments on Google maps. have bedbugs bites on my legs, everything is in cash, sketchy feeling. 3 rooms/floors, 12 beds/rooms, 1 (too) small shower/toilets by floors (1 for 36 if the hostel is full). arrived one day later, they cancelled my whole reservation, i had to find something else the day i arrived, do not answer phone or mail, want me to pay everything

Slept couple of nights there and got bit by the bed bugs. Maybe Im unlucky 1, but worth mentioning. Felt like sleeping in homeless shelter. No vibe, only cash. Better add 5 euro and find something better.

We had a lot of bedbug bites after our stay here. We also paid in cash but a month after our stay they tried to charge our creditcard for extra money.

this was the worst hostel ever, we saw bedbugs and couldnt sleep there for even a day even though we had 4 days of reservation and they did not give us a refund.

Don't go there, whatever reason you have, it's not worth it. I wouldn't go there again if it was free and for the money they charge it's truly a joke. The toilet and shower are in a room thats too small to turn around in and covered in mould. The beds are too small for normal-sized people and the mattresses might as well just not be there. According to other reviews they're also full of bedbugs but I was lucky enough not to see these guys. Additionaly, the whole room also stinks and most of the lockers c

this is the worst hostel i have ever stayed in the staff was very rude and the beds were very dirty, my slippers was stolen by one of the people with me in the dorm and there was bed bugs everywhere, this is the worst experience in my whole life. i don’t recommend this hostel to anyone.

Many reviews mentioned bedbugs, thankfully this was not an issue when I stayed. Hostelz lists this as having free breakfast and a kitchen, of which it has neither. A microwave and fridge are all thats available, and no breakfast. For one of the days I stayed, the front door was not closed (although someone was always at reception), and the door to my room was almost never closed, sometimes it would not close. tiny showers. Overpriced for the facilities. Generally clean though.

When we woke up in the morning we had so many bites, and when we flipped the mattress we found bed bugs. We told the employee at the reception who told us it was a normal situation in Europe, that the bed bugs were dead and that we would not get a refund for our stay. Most horrible experience I had in an hostel. Also people sleeping in the hallway… smell of vomit on the carpets… to avoid if you want to enjoy Amsterdam.

Was not as clean or comfortable as the pictures portray. We had two people moved from their beds due to bedbugs and those beds, without being thoroughly cleaned, were filled by new people the same day. The staff were not very helpful and the whole place feels a bit off. There is also a deal to leave a good review and they will watch your luggage for free so take any incredible reviews with a grain of salt.

Horrific Experience: Mold, Bed Bugs, and Unresponsive Staff I had an absolutely terrible stay at this hostel. The room was dirty, with mold growing in the corners. To make matters worse, I had a severe bed bug problem that left me with multiple bites on my arms and neck. These bites itched and swelled for two weeks, causing me significant discomfort. The hostel has one plus - its location The minuses are very small rooms, really tiny. We were lucky with our neighbors, but you can still hear everything very loudly. There are almost no dishes in the kitchen, not even just glasses And the worst thing is that we were bitten by bedbugs :( Before this, I thought that the hostel would be fine for 1 night, but bedbugs are too much.

DO NOT STAY HERE. Caught the worse case of bed bugs. Most dirtiest hostel I have ever stayed in and I have stayed in a lot. Creepy staff. Didn’t see anyone clean anything the whole week I stayed. I get hostels aren’t going to be always nice and clean but when you pay nearly €500 euros for accommodation you can at least hope you don’t catch bed bugs!! No storage for bags so in my 15 person room everyone’s bags are all over the floor. The room was like a sauna, no air circulation at all. Rate it 0

The worst hostel that i have ever seen. The receptionist not gentil after that we ask some more explaination about the payment, no payment receipt, the first hour i found a big red bed bug on my bed, others dead beetles on the wall and the toilets shit stained all the time!!! I would like to tell you that i’m exagerating but unfortunately i’m not. Please don’t go there is unhealthy.

Be polite and you will be well received, staff can be really friendly if you adress them with a smile. Slept in a clean 12 beds mixed room which corresponded to my expectations. The only downside is the constant rumours of bed bugs there.

friend of mine had bedbugs, staff didn’t seem to mind much. barely any outlets in the dorms. it’s a bargain hostel but don’t expect everything to be peachy.

Well located. Staff is friendly( at least most of it). But the rooms are not well cleaned. There is only one bathroom for 15 beds, and one bathroom outside on the corridor. Both VERY small and with no place to place personal items. My nephew got badly bitten by bed bugs on our second day and staff said they could not do anything about it. I got red itchy marks from bed bugs all over my body on the same day of our check out and have sent several emails but no reply. I'LL NEVER go back there.

Awful… DONT GO. Waste of money. I’d rather sleep outside. Only one shower and toilet in a room of 24 people. And the toliet is actually in the shower Loads of bed bugs too. Several bites😑😑
