KbH-Karakol based Hostel

Small hostel with one dorm and 3 rooms, + yurt outside. Small common area but OK, + a seating area outside. Manager Dasta was helpful

Great hostel with friendly and helpful staff, also has very clear descriptions of how to visit cool places in the area. Dorm was really spacious with comfortable beds, clean bathrooms and kitchen, nice area to hang out and meet other people. Also very close to stores etc., would definitely come back if I'm in Karakol again

Really solid hostel for the price. The beds are pretty confy with a good location close to the town center

A very good hostel, very cosy and quite small. It makes it easier to meet people in the common space. If you ask the staff they helped you to organize your hikes. Everybody here comes for the hikes and mountains.

Loved staying here, it was very social and seems like the best place to be in Karakol. Walking distance to cafes and restaurants, and has lots of information on things to do. The kitchen isn’t very well kept, but has the facilities you need to do cooking for yourself. Has the cutest cat that is very friendly

Amazing hostel, friendly people! When we had troubles with the battery our vehicle, the owner helped us directly by going to the garage and other local shops to help us further. The service was amazing!! Would definitely recommend the hostel!!

Nice hostel in Karakol. The city is rather boring, so it’s nice to have a good hostel. There are lockers in both the yurt and room, would like for there to blinds for the bed. Reception was quite on/off but it worked fine. Free storage which were nice when going on hikes. All backpackers there go on hikes

If you have low expectations, this place is good. Good value

Awesome hostel -- clean, well organised, great bathroom facilities. Met some great people. It's always booked out for a reason! Only thing to note is that there was often a "competition" over the washing machine. There's only one machine, it's available for a limited time each day, and the hostel is full of people returning from hikes and trying to wash their stuff.

Really great hostel, super friendly and easy to find groups of ppl up for hiking or going for food. Nice communal areas, and a cat:)

Best hostel in karakol!!!!

My boyfriend got his passport stolen during the night at this hostel. This is partially our fault as we had not put the bags in the lockers before going to bed (we didn't want to wake up anyone). And apparently, someone came and searched through our stuff... Even though the dorm was equipped with a security camera, the recording did not go after 9pm...

Auberge très sympa, personnel très gentil et disponible pour répondre aux questions, très proche du centre ville, la yourte dortoir est très confortable. Nous y avons passé plusieurs nuits avec ma soeur et recommandons !!

Hands down the best hostel in Karakol. The atmosphere, location and staff are great. It’s a good place to meet people :)

Great place to stay centrally in Karakol. Nice and helpful staff who arranged taxis for us to Ala Kul hike, and gave us other bus information.

I lived this spot. Super friendly and helpful english-speaking reception. great social atmosphere for meeting other backpackers, and there are shops and a good bar not far away.
