Found this place a little cramped and so noisy. Walls were paper thin and you could hear everything. Staff and other guests were nice and interesting. Short walk from Nara Park and other sites. Probably wouldnt stay again but not bad for a cheap night stay.
Cute, small hostel in old japanese style house. very clean and quiet. Definitely take the breakfast, it's worth it! Friendly staff, feel very authentic and also close to the deer park (but not necessarily central) which makes it nice for relaxing stay.
The hostel is in a Japanese neighborhood which I really like. The staff are welcoming and the place is clean. It’s a traditional Japanese house which feels very homey. There’s a bus stop few mins walk. And the Deer Park is also walkable. Will def come back here
Maison japonaise typique, endroit charmant. L'isolation sonore entre les lits est aussi typiquement japonaise (très fine!)
The cutest little guesthouse. Dorm rooms are quite packed so not much space. It’s all good though. I would definitely stay again. Very central and close to the deer park. Lots of lovely little restaurants close by as well.
Loved the hostel. Staff was incredible. The highlight of staying here for me was the laundry facilities. They had a whole room dedicated to drying clothes and they dried in less than a day. If I ever return to Nara this is where I would stay!
Peut-être ajouter une petite tablette dans l’espace lit pour: lunette, téléphone serait bien.
Cute guesthouse in Japanese style. Thank you so much.
They were so nice. Everything was perfect. Room cost and clean. Very helpful. Would definitely return
The dorm room is extremely small, you can barely walk there with a suitcase
Great hostel to meet other travellers! Breakfast was also 10/10
Dortoir un peu étroit mais le lieu est reposant, les parties communes sont très propres. L'emplacement est parfait pour visiter Nara.
Cool to stay in a more traditional Japanese style house. There was NO room to put your stuff in the rooms. The bunks were VERY close together so I’m glad they had curtains. Staff seemed a bit “above it all”..but close walk to Nara park which was fun.
I stayed for a few nights and had a fine time. The hostel is right by the park and a bus stop, although the neighborhood is mostly residential.
I had a great time here and the staff was very hospitable. just keep in mind that it's an older japanese house; I'm taller and whacked my head the first night!
great hostel and staff. would stay again
Nice guesthouse with a rustic feel, tiny inner courtyard, kitchen, and when I was there a unique mixed-age friendly social atmosphere (11 months to 60s). The dorms are very cramped, they do have curtains, but only small lockers outside in the hallway/ kitchen.
an amazing place to stay in Nara! very friendly staff, comfortable and homely atmosphere. great location right near the park, and a great price. would recommend to anyone going to Nara
lovely stay with great coffee and ambience
Great cosy place for good rest!
