Amazing hostel, clean, and kind manager, too!
Very nice !
Overall I had a good experience. The bathrooms were clean and nice and the beds were comfy. There were some guest that were loud and came in the hostel after midnight. Not a social hostel, if that is what you are looking for. Also about an hour drive from the park entrance.
A very cute hostel in a peaceful and relaxing environment!
small cute hostel, has everything you need, no AC so really hot in summer, can't go into dorms before 10 p.m. because its too hot, little fans attached to the beds which help a bit
Ótimo hostel para visitar yosemite, limpo, confortável, bonito e bom custo benefício. Poderia ter um micro-ondas na cozinha, e no verão poder ficar quente. Recomendo.
Wonderful place!
Clean, good location, lots of parking. All around a great experience. Cute little hostel, I’d stay at again. The owners are really doing a good job!
Loved it, very creative & entertaining in their decor. Place was very nice. Wish it was closer to the park, it’s about 2hrs to yosemite valley. Wanted to stay longer, the people staying there were pretty cool.
awesome little hostel! the first hostel I’ve ever stayed in and I had a great experience! the price was great, super cozy accommodations, and it was located in such a nice and peaceful area. I also loved that they had a female only dorm room option. highly recommend :)
We had a great stay in the women's dorm. The hostel and especially the cats are very cute! The kitchen was very useful for us and everything else was nice as well!
Great Hostel that’s very clean and comfortable. Check-in process is entirely self-explanatory and supported with helpful signs. Kitchen is fully stocked (although salt was missing during my stay) and includes complementary tea, coffee, fruit and drinks. The entrance of Yosemite National Park is about forty minutes away but it’s an additional forty minutes to get to the Valley so plan accordingly.
Really good environment ! Very clean and accessible to get
Loved my stay here! Super quaint. I didn't see any staff for the two nights I spent, but that wasn't an issue.
Unique Hostel, lots of small details which I love. Could came back
Beautiful and safe atmosphere. Very clean with great amenities and a good crew of guests. Felt very comfortable staying here. Highly recommended!
It was a very well kept, clean, nice older beautiful house. Very peaceful. Drive to Yosemite National park approximately 30 mins to main gate and another hour to reach valley center. Town is very quiet, not a wide selection of places to shop and eat but that’s part of charm of a small cozy town like north fork. Definitely would recommend it. Love the little notes throughout the house making you feel welcome. Newly installed is a merchandise honor system section to get a souvenir. Travel...
Visited in the middle of July. Affordable pricing for it's proximity to Yosemite. Mixed gender dorms were in a finished attic. The finished attic with the cooling and ventilation was still pretty hot until about 10PM. Nice restrooms, showers, and kitchen.
Super Unterkunft! alles sauber und sehr konfortabel.
Jackass Hostel is a great place to stay when visiting the Yosemite area. There’s a great common area with plenty of amenities. In the 3 days I stayed there, I never met anyone working there so the guests briefed new guests. I had a full sized bed with two pillows and a sheet with extra blankets when you get cold. I honestly don’t know if the front door was ever locked and there are no lockers but it didn’t seem to be a problem. There was also a welcoming cat! Would stay again.
