amazing hostel tbh. rarely stayed somewhere with such good value for money. owner is super nice and helpful, keeps everything clean at all times, and the common area is actually so cool, with a small pool and a pool table, well equipped kitchen, everything you need really. 100% would come back
Sehr schönes Hostel mit guter Lage. Leider waren wir die einzigem im Hostel und daher immer sehr ruhig. Küche ist ok ausgestattet
Nice Hostel. Dorm was a bit small and sticky(warm), due to no AC in my room (there are some dorms wirh AC). Small, clean pool at the veranda. Staff was friendly.
great place :) I came for a couple nights and ended up staying longer because it was so awesome. the weekend had many activities around town to stay busy- the hostel was full of really nice people and we all hung out and went out. The other days I stayed I got to enjoy relaxing at the hostel- super chill vibe , i drank by the pool , slept in the hammock listening to monkeys and played pool with the owner and friends- really nice staff with cool travel stories. i WILL be coming back , seeya later...
I will be coming back here, I came with my girlfriend and we did surf lessons, horseback riding, quad rentals and the tortuga island tour all from the same hostel - great service. pura vida vibes, music, jam nights and a bbq night .. perfection for us
I loved my stay there! This is one of the more affordable hostels in ST and yet it offers you everything you need. Staff is friendly and helpful. It’s more of a quiet hostel but I did connect with others there! Nice terrace and big kitchen that was never over crowded. Only downside is that the AC is only turned on at night so it’s boiling in the rooms during the day.
Staying as a single woman in a quiet period was not ideal. There was no friendly atmosphere or vibes apart from the one volunteer. I had an altercation with the owner over various points which I felt were fair enough, such as the lock on the door not working. He at least gave me time to talk over our points of view the next day and refunded me my next nights stay. Beds comfy but the 6 bed fem dorm was stifling hot with no aircon till 9pm and only a window to the noisy street in the bathroom.
Rude staff and basically no social life. Had a poor experience here. Rooms are okay, everything else is not. I’d recommend you avoid as there are way better hostels in Santa Teresa
Unfortunately was there during a quiet spell so couldn’t properly judge the atmosphere. Everything else was great, but would advise a room with air con as it Hot in Santa Teresa!

The best hostel I’ve stayed at in Costa Rica. Everyone was super welcoming and helpful, the rooms were clean and spacious and the atmosphere was amazing! 100% recommend!
Danny and the crew were so helpful and kind! They cleaned everyday and were there for anything you need. Total bonus to jam with some awesome musicians and great vibes all around. highly suggest 😁
Great stay , super peaceful backyard I liked to wake up to and do my work looking out at the jungle. right across from the beach and next to some good restaurants. and a grocery store downstairs! It was honestly perfect for me. chill and laid back atmosphere. but really clean, thanks

Leuk hostel, ingang was alleen een beetje moeilijk te vinden. En tijdens ins verblijf was er letterlijk niemand anders… dus maakte het niet heel gezellig.
Nice music hostel with a great selection of instruments. Staff is very friendly. The pool is closed at the moment and will reopen for high season.
Enjoyed my time here while adjusting to Santa Teresa pace. It is central between the different beach spots along the coast. Perfect if you want to spend your days exploring different surf spots or restaurants. The operators are nice and informative. You can tell that a lot of their heart and soul has gone into creating a funky vibe to suit many different interests. There are a few areas designed to hang and meet new people. Good vibes only!! Would stay at again for sure!
Good place for the average surfer. Close to the beach and in the middle of town. Clean and good staff. The patio is under remodel of the time of this review, so don't expect the pool table to be usable. Only recommendation I would have is females should be accompanied at night on the beach. I myself had no issues but there were definitely a few questionable characters wandering (nothing to do with the hostel, just Santa Teresa itself). Overall a good experience.
