Roy's Villa

Eines der schönsten und saubersten Hostel, die ich je gesehen habe! Das Personal ist super hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Etwas teurer als die anderen Hostels, aber dafür hat es echt Stil.

Roy’s Villa hostel is amazing place! Great staff that are really happy to just chat but also help you out whenever. Great beds and spacious area for yourself and everything is very clean. The general atmosphere incl. the other guests was amazing! I had a great time and definitely recommend this if you like a nice + chilled communical and social hostel.

The vibe was amazing and everyone was so nice and helpful. The activities were also amazing i loved staying here

We had an amazing time at Roy’s. Super clean, great activities, yummy food and the staff were all so friendly and welcoming. Totally recommend.

I stayed in an 8-person dorm, which was surprisingly spacious and very comfortable. You get a large bed all to yourself, and the bathrooms and toilets were always super clean. The hostel offers great events, and relaxing by the pool was a highlight as well. The staff is amazing, the family dinners are delicious, and the overall atmosphere is very social. I absolutely loved it!

The most amazing hostel in sigriya ! Wouldn’t book anywhere else ! Was recommended by a friend, the staff are the most lovely people , they want to know you , go above and beyond to help ! They organise all things for you so no added stress ! It’s always the little things they do to go above and beyond ! First time solo travelling and felt very at peace !! Thank you so much ! ich wurde beim Check Out gefragt ob ich eine gute Bewertung geben kann und habe ja gesagt. daraufhin musste ich versprechen, dass ich eine sehr gute Bewertung schreibe mit 5/5 Sternen. ich weiß gute Bewertung sind wichtig, aber hört auf Reisenden das so aufzudrängen. ihr seit doch gut, also bitte, Authentizität ist wichtig!! ich fande die Unterkunft sehr schön und vor allem sauber,aber basics wie ein Spiegel oder ein Vorhang haben jedoch gefehlt. mir waren es außerdem zu viele Menschen (>5...

Amazing stay!

really great beds, rooms, showers, pool and atmosphere. the staff are great and the hostel organise loads of activities.Areallybeau istiful space to hang out in. but it is expensive and you can't leave the site so end up buying all food and drink there. also might not suit everyones style. they also only take cash so need plenty to settle at the end. really enjoyed this hostel the most friendly and social I've been to.

Roy's is a beautiful place, but feels very restrictive We booked Roy’s Villa with high expectations. It’s not cheap, but very well rated. Upon arrival, we were genuinely impressed: beautiful huts, an open and relaxing atmosphere, and extremely friendly staff. That part is easily a 10/10. The range of activities also looked great at first, but our experience quickly changed. On our first morning, we wanted to join a sunrise hike. Since we had our own tuk-tuk, we asked to follow the jeep ourse...

We booked Roy’s after hearing great things and received a lovely free upgrade on arrival. However, the stay felt quite structured, with little flexibility to plan our own activities. For all the transport to hikes we needed to pay 5 dollars. The family dinners (~$9) are good but feel almost mandatory, and overall prices are closer to European levels. The dinner speech also made it feel like independent travelers aren’t very welcome.

A truly amazing hostel, such caring and funny staff, very sociable and a real community feel! It’s more expensive than other hostels I’ve been to but worth it! Great idea to start your trip here to make friends and go south after.

Absolutely amazed at how incredible this place was. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Will be recommending to everyone! Staff are phenomenal, makes it so easy that they organise everything for you, activities were great! No better way to experience Sirigiya. Worth every cent!

Great hostel, fun activities and the best staff

Roy’s Villa is echt een mega leuke plek wanneer je naar Sigirya wil! Het hostel biedt een hoop activiteiten binnen en buiten het hostel. Dit is fijn want in de buurt van Roys Villa is ook niet super veel te doen. Personeel is mega vriendelijk, willen je overal bij helpen en investeren in contact. De semi-private kamers zijn klein maar (gedeelde) wc/douche zijn netjes en schoon. Prijzen van eten/drinken worden aangegeven in dollars en ligt aan de wat hogere kant. Had an incredible stay at Roy’s - I’ve stayed in hostels across SE Asia, Australia and S America, and this was easily my favourite hostel that I’ve stayed in! The staff really make the experience special and go above and beyond to ensure you’re satisfied. The activities were great and varied. The rooms are lovely - I stayed in an 8 bed mixed dorm and had a double bed to myself with plenty of space. The pool is nice and surroundings are beautiful. Thank you for having me!

Genuinely one of the best hostels in the world. Nice facility, tons of well-organized activities, outstanding food, and staff that go above and beyond to ensure that you have a great stay.
