Couldn't recommend this hostel much less. The only nice thing i have to say is that I don't think it gave me bedbugs and its on the canal which is pretty. They lie in this advertising though. Luggage storage isn't included. The lounge is not good. The receptionists are stereotypically judgmental French people. Stay somewhere else

i got bedbugs but no help

  3. Confirmed Hostelworld

6 bed female room was quiet and not very expensive at all. was able to make friends in the room easily, the bar is really lovely downstairs. it was quite hot at night, I also got bitten lots - i think ??? mosquitos but unable to rule out bed bugs - bitten in long lines along my back and legs when they were exposed at night - i couldn’t see any bugs in the bed so it could have been mosquitos. anyway - bring bug spray and long pyjamas! area is okay, canal pretty, near metro

I walked in here and immediately felt that something was off, there was a terrible smell coming from the common area where a cocktail workshop was taking place, with plastic bags strewn across the floor. I checked google reviews and there were some from as recent as two weeks stating that there were bed bugs, that rooms had been broken into, that there were mice/rats. My room felt like a prison, with no privacy between beds. Lots of older men walking around. Not a vibe I felt safe in at all :(

  5. Confirmed Hostelworld

Dirty, bed bugs and loud roommates that woke me up at 5.00 am by turning on the main light. The beds aren't really clean, don't even get me started about the showers. Location is ok, close by metro and a nice canal. Staff is friendly. The sportsbar is a nice addition

    Got bedbugs

  7. Confirmed Hostelworld

This hostel is okay if you just want somewhere to sleep but nothing else. Be aware that it is super far from all main attractions (at least 30-50 min by metro) and in an area that is not safe for solo females after dark. Area is otherwise nice by the canal during the day. Absolutely no social aspect, the common area is depressing (& often closed) and the kitchen is a kettle and a microwave so you have to buy all meals out. I liked that all beds had curtains but I’m 99.9% certain I got bedbugs.

  8. Confirmed Hostelworld

The staff were rude and it made it difficult to put my bag in storage and to store your bag costs eight euros. There isn’t many events and it’s not really near all that much. I wouldn’t say it’s that social of a hostel. I’m pretty sure I also got bed bugs from there and there was someone else’s hair in my sheets. Showers are annoying as you have to click a button and they time out. Honestly, the worst hostel I’ve stayed in so far and I feel like I’m a pretty chill person too.

  9. Confirmed Hostelworld

Everything about this hostel was great EXCEPT for the fact that I woke up with bed bug bites over my face and neck 😭😭😭 Obviously this was very inconvenient and a little uncomforting however everything else was good about my stay. If you are looking to be a regular tourist like me and see all he main attractions, the only other fault would be that it is a far walk from the Eiffel Tower and Louvre, etc although the metro is super easy is Paris so that was very helpful. 7/10

  10. Confirmed Hostelworld

I went during the Paris bedbug infestation, and there were no bedbugs !!! Very close to the metro, had some nice places to eat nearby, and only a 20min walk from Zénith (if you're going to a concert there like I was). Overall 10/10 would stay there again.

This place definitely has bedbugs as of October 2023. Bad showers with broken soap dispensers. Laundry is kinda expensive but does work well. Hostel-run events are lame and show minimal effort. Not a terrible spot but I'll be looking elsewhere next time I'm in Paris

    - This hostel has a great atmosphere, and is meant for travellers. It's also a party hostel, with tons of common areas to meet other travellers. - The bed was good, with a curtain, and the sheets were clean. - There are lockers and they fit my 55L Opsrey backpack with other bags. - The location is ok, located near the Piquet metro station, but not much around. - There is no guest kitchen, but the hostel has a restaurant/bar area. - I stayed during the bed bug crisis, and the hostel was still very clean and

  13. Confirmed Hostelworld

It was nice but I didn't like the social atmosphere even though there was a bar downstairs it just wasn't very inviting for solo travelers. Also, the location wasn't central at all but the metro wasn't far so you could get around ok. Someone in my room did find a bed bug in her bed so i would be careful and check.

Clean Hostel with very nice facilities, however having no aircon made it very difficult to sleep. I also think I may have left there with bed bugs so make sure to check your sheets thoroughly. Location was very far away from all the sights, had to take the metro half an hour every time to leave which became a bit annoying. On the last night I stayed there was a massive party in the park across from the hostel which loudly ran all into the night. While I understand that this was not the hostels fault, du
