Bedbugs in the bed - had a sleepless night, bitten by bugs all night long. 60 bug bites on my body the next day - 10 on each arm/leg plus 15 on back. Other guests here wrote the same thing. They don't seem to disinfect the beds here - very gross.

I found signs of bed bugs on my privacy curtain late at night at 2AM as I focused on checking my mattress at check in. The manager looked at a photo & said I was 100% wrong and I could not trust google on how to check for bed bugs. She then gave me the option of staying in the unclean room or leaving at 2 AM stranded for a full refund which both were unacceptable to me. I slept in another room that night & left, & the refund wasnt processed properly so I have to now dispute it with my bank.

A room nearby was being treated for bedbugs. I found one bug in my room.( not clear of it was a bedbugs) every night of the weekend there was a party in the café so it was very crowded

Unfortunately, I got bed bugs here. I am certain. Ichy lumps on my arm. Hopefully I didnt bring any with me. The cleaning needs to be more thorough. The hostel is quite modern but there is no atmosphere, hard to meet others. It doesn't try to facilitate socializing at all. They care more about their bar and café which is open to the general public. Great location though. It wouldnt be hard to make it so much better. Afterall Paris is just not a good hostel city... and has lots of bed bugs !

This Hostel was fine, it’s close to a metro station, but everything is 20-30 minutes away via metro. Bathrooms were often flooded from showers, not really the hostel atmosphere. The kitchen for the entire hostel is equipped with two mini fridges. Someone took my things out of the fridge to out theirs in, so I had to throw my food away as it was left out. Another review mentioned bug bites, I have them too but its NOT bed bugs, they are mosquitoes from the open windows.

The timer for the shower. 10 seconds! Absolutely ridiculous. I learnt a new skill - how to shower one handed whilst holding onto the shower button thing. And the water pressure is woeful. My son found it difficult to wash his hair ...and he has short hair! My daughter and I decided not to even contemplate washing our hair. It is admirable to have an ethos of water saving etc, but this 10 second shower concept is an absolute joke! And as a "hostel" the communal kitchen facilities on L4 were pathetic. 2 small bar fridges for items. They were both full when we arrived (& stunk!) so there was no way we could store milk for cereal or yoghurts. And those that did have food in there, had notes to say "please don't steal my food". Really disappointed with the communal kitchen concept.. And 6-8 bar stools at a window bench for you to eat a meal at. Good luck with that. Can't call yourself a "hostel" if that is the grand sum total of space provided. Massive thumbs down. It really felt like the communal kitchen was an after thought.

Found a bed bug, the dorm room had 8 beds but only one bathroom (including toilet), and the shared bathroom was stingy.

Great stay, very VERY clean (no sign of bed bugs at all!!). Shared facilities cleaned daily, very modern. Only slight issue is that my dorm door and the women’s bathroom door didn’t always close all the way automatically, so left the rooms vulnerable.

Manager didn’t believe me when I said there were bed bugs. I have evidence and pictufed. She didnt even give me a refund for the prior nights or an apology. The staff were very friendly atleast.

Staff were a bit rude and uninterested, I asked the woman at the desk what activities were on and she said she didn’t know. She was also chatting to other people whilst checking me in which was off putting. It’s quite an anti-social hostel and very quiet so if you’re looking to meet other travellers it’s hard. Others came down to the reception complaining of bed bugs which was a bit worrying.
