Ik sliep in de vrouwen dorm. Het was niet eens een echte kamer. Wat losse wandjes. En veel te heet. Weggegaan en geld terug gekregen. Foto s kloppen niet. Ik raad het af.

Be careful if you book with payment on arrival instead of pre-payment! The hostel ONLY required cash, insisting on a 10% fee for card payments, and was quite rude, as if I didn't intend to pay at all! When I pointed out that the 10% fee was a scam, I was able to pay by card. During my stay, they tried to move me from room to room several times!

I really enjoyed my stay.I have nothing bad to say except for one thing: When I was in my room in the womens-only dorm,another hostel guest-a man, was let in by one of the staff.It was a man I met before once and I guess he asked for me or something.Not only is it not okay to let a man into a womens-only dorm, but they knocked at my door once and then immediately just let themselves in.I could’ve been changing for all they know.It was a very uncomfortable situation.I hope this wont happen agai...

Be careful if you book a 10bed room or a room in the basement! The 10-bed room is located right next to the terrace where the dining room and reception are located, and music can play there until late at night, making every sound audible. Furthermore, the toilets and showers are right next to this room, and the door itself is so thin that you can hear every toilet flush! Very basic setup. But very centrally located in this part of Istanbul. Friendly people although English is clearly not their most fluent language. Safe and clean enough. It's probably going to be hard to beat on a value for quality scale. If you just need a clean bed and the basic setup, this place is absolutely fine.

El hostal queda dentro de un barrio muy bullicioso todo el día y noche, si puedes dormir con eso, genial. Calidad precio está bien y el desayuno espectacular, felicidades

We booked this hostel for the pictures with this garden etc and were a bit deceived that it is no longer existing. After that we found dirty toilets in the morning, wich is also the only place to brush your teeth because of the lack of common sink. In a more positive way the breakfast was good

not enough toilets and no proper sinks in the bathrooms. --> quite dirty no security at all, doors not locked, don't supply enough padlocks for the lockers.

A equipe do albergue e o café da manhã são excelentes. Os itens negativos ficam por conta dos próprios hóspedes, que não sabem se comportar em dormitórios, inclusive sujando o banheiro totalmente.

Loved the vibe and the people though overall there could be some improvements. The rooms did not lock and also did not have enough lockers for everyone so we had to share. Also the bathrooms never had toilet paper and were very gross all the time. Online the rooms appeared much nicer than they actually were, with us two girls being put in a room with 10 other older men. Though everyone did seem super nice. The breakfast isn’t great either (cold fries, baloney, and olives) so we bought most day...

The bed linen was white, towels were provided. There are no keys in the rooms, the staircase is spiral - may not suit everyone. There was no hot water in the sink tap in the toilet at all times - despite my requests!

The staff are the kindest I've ever met in Istanbul, especially Aya, the guy and the lady preparing breakfast Also, the location is great as it's very close to Istiklal and Taksim The new place and their new Bistro are perfect, making travelers meet and chat I'll book with them again next time when I go back to Istanbul cause the cost vs the value is great

The staff was really nice and helpful! The hostel is split into two buildings and when you book , you don't know which one of them you will get. Unfortunately, i got the older building and it was terrible. I had a private room with shared toilet and the room smelled like mould. It was noisy and the room didn't get dark as the door was a milky glass. The toilets were not clean, you could see the mould on the ceilings and the showers were cold.

I would not recommend this place to anybody. I had made a reservation, but I knew that I’d be checking in really late, so I contacted the hostel through their number and asked about it. I was reassured that reception was 24/7, but when I showed up for the reservation, they had given my bed away. I had to find another hostel. There are plenty of better hostels that will treat you well in Istanbul.

For the price is good. the breakfast is convenient. there are no lockers. the staff is kind and allowed me to let my luggage after check out. you can pay by card. there are a lot of cats . the location is good . there are no lockers
