Schatzi's Hideaway

Difficile de reconnaître l'hébergement au premier coup d'œil et il ne vaut mieux pas aller trop loin car les chiens de la voisine mordent. Il fait extrêmement chaud dans la chambre, le salon et la salle de bain, malgré les ventilateurs au plafond. C'est un hébergement très calme en soit, peu de rencontres ou de bruit, sauf quand les voisins font la fête... L'hébergement est à proximité des arrêts de bus. Je ne le recommande pas spécialement mais il reste convenable pour une nuit.

Nice place to stay and escape from loud Hiriketiya. It's kinda hidden in the jungle and a nice walk from the beach where you can relax without any people around you. I did a kajak tour with the host through the lagoon, which was totally worth it, highly recommended! Breakfast was good and beds were comfortable. Would definitely come back for some days! :)

Loved my stay here! Very calm and a nice break from the business of Hiriketiya. Felt very peaceful the whole time and ended up just walking to the beach (about 7 min walk) everyday to relax. The owner is so lovely and the staff very kindly carried my bags & made sure I got on the bus okay!

Very nice host. The hostel is located right in front of a beautiful beach. Good restaurant close by.

The owner scammed us into paying 8000 rupies (25€) for our laundry, which we got back still wet and still dirty... After trying to bargain with him he did not understand our discontent at all and threatened to call the police if we did not pay the horrendous price.

Die Unterkunft war wunderschön - Mitten im Paradies. Der Inhaber ist unglaublich nett und man spürt die Verbundenheit zur Natur. Auch das Essen war fabelhaft. Alles in Allem eine 10/10. Würde sofort wiederkommen!

The best place ever if you need to disconnect from the busy areas. 7 minutes walk from the beach where you can chill the whole day and you won’t see anybody. Laki is such a chill guy and he makes delicious food. I will be back for sure :)

Die Einrichtung ist einfach und man darf nicht zu viel erwarten. Sauberkeit entspricht dem Standard in Sri Lanka. Das Personal ist super freundlich und zuvorkommend. Sehr hilfsbereit. Die Stimmung war gemütlich. Wir durften das Essen sälber wählen und es wurde frisch zubereitet. Sehr lecker.

I loved this so much, because it was quite secluded but you can easily reach by bus from tangalle. After 10 minutes walking from the property is a beautiful beach which is always empty. The owner will help you with everything, he went beyond to help me with a bank problem even days after we left. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and the food they cook is very tasty. I really really recommend this.

I Had a very relaxing and nice time at schatzi's Hideaway. The Host ist very friendly, super helpful and just very nice to talk to. The nature is beautiful. It is a very calm place. Dinner and breakfast were delicious as Well.
