IMPORTANT: the front desk is not open 24/7, the guy working there said he mostly leaves around midnight and „someone comes back in the morning“. Also really important: they don’t have access to Hostelworld so they don’t see any reservations. He said we were lucky there was room available and reluctantly gave us the price hostelworld told us to pay since „their rate is higher“. Also no lockers available. You can pay with card (Hostelworld says only cash). Okay for one night, not the w...
The place was horrible, it stunk, was filthy and they double booked us so we couldn’t stay there
Reception is not actually 24 hour, which I did not learn until they stranded me at SFO at midnight. When I called, he asked how much money I had spent on the room, and when I said I got a dorm he was like sorry bro can’t help you.
during staying here I came across a puddle of blood on the floor along with a bloody stick in the middle of night I let the staff know and they responded to me with "we know"
Room was coverd by very bad smell, wash room is broken, door is not good.
staffs are friendly.
Staff were friendly and helpful enough. Bathrooms were pretty grimy, low on TP and often occupied. Kitchen was small. Room was basic. Woman who bunked below me was a schizophrenic who loudly and angrily argued with the voice in her head and shouted at me for not locking the room while I was occupying it. I would have rather camped in the woods or slept in a cardboard box. Spend the extra $5-10 a night and sleep somewhere respectable. Not worth the money.
Literal bed bugs, very weird staff members checked me in asking strange questions. Felt very uneasy. Incredibly dirty, floors have not been cleaned in a long time. Again. There are bed bugs. Sketchy characters hang around near the hostel and make a lot of noise during the evening
A humble stop in a prime location. If you're embracing simple living and just thankful for 4 walls, a bed with no bugs, and a working bathroom, then this place is a great value. Nice staff.
Was told the room wasnt available and therefore couldnt stay
If you are looking for a cheap place to stay this is the right choice.
The most ridiculous hoatel ever I had. Personally,I would like to rate 2 of 10 overall. Firat of all, bathrooms and shower rooms on each floors are very narrow and floors got always wet and smelled bad. When it comes to shower, water didn't get warm, made my body cold after taking shower. One of the craziest thing is that they have no kitchen, fridge and trash can in there so I had to eat out while I stayed. At night, the street around the hostel was insane where crazy drivers made big noise wi
If I can give a lower rating, I would have. There was no soap, there is a nasty fly trap tape in the bathroom, and the hostel smelled terrible. I had no front key into the hostel and one of the bathrooms had mold. The key was also non-existent unlike advertised.
Amazing location especially on a budget. Friendly attentive staff. Loved the location! Chinatown is literally across the street with a huge selection of eateries. Checked out grant and found roast duck and goose. Thanks SF
