Tropicália Hostel e Pousada

The hostel is super chill and all the volunteers are extremely friendly and warm and willing to help you with anything you need. Glauber is the best and will always make you feel at home. I didn’t want to leave :)

Great hostel with fantastic staff. Ended up staying 8 days here and the place attracted really lovely people - don’t bother staying anywhere else, this is the best hostel in Itacare.

The staff were great and the location is good but the hostel is overpriced for what it is. The 10 bed dorm is crowded, the room is boiling and the fans don’t do much, there isn’t much of a social space so not the best for hostel related meeting people. And the lack of curtains in a room that big wasn’t ideal. The private rooms looked nice but I wouldn’t stay there again in the dorm

I had an amazing stay at Tropicialia. The staff was very friendly and fun, the people that stayed there with me were a nice blends of Brazilians and internationals. The dorm was spacious with enough options to store luggage and personal belongings. Shower, kitchen and bathrooms enough and clean. I really enjoyed the atmosphere here and would come again - all was perfect :)

Overall it was an okay stay! The location of the hostel was great however the shared dorm had open windows and so the room was boiling hot and you get bitten by mosquitos the entire night which made it very hard to sleep at night. The bathrooms and kitchen were clean but not very social.

Loved it. Feels like a home! The building is really old and amazing and full of character! Staff is really helpful and nice. Has everything one would need and its location is amazing!

Overall, it was a great stay. Very social hostel thanks to the volunteers who are super friendly and helpful all the time. The dorm I stayed was a bit dingy but did not bother me a lot. I’d stay again 100%.

Clean and central. But not social. Open windows towards the street in the dorm. Helpful staff if you asked for something. But it’s not a very social hostel as it doesn’t have any proper common areas, apart from a small outdoor kitchen and sitting area. No breakfast included. And not all staff were social to travelers but got a sense they were more geared to be social to each other than to guests.

Choosing Tropicália Hostel was definitely the best choice in Itacaré. The team was incredibly kind, and I felt truly welcomed. During my first few days at the hostel, I was very sick, and the staff immediately helped me with medicine and tea and took great care of me. I spent a week in a private room, which was very nice and clean. If you’re looking for great people, a clean hostel, and an amazing atmosphere, I highly recommend it!!

Good hostel

We had such a great time here that we even extended our stay! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the volunteers made it extra special – they were always kind and helpful. Would definitely come back and recommend it to anyone!

Expérience super, les volontaires sont super sympa et vous accueillent directement. Le dortoir est très propre et la salle de bain aussi. Il y a de l’eau chaude et la cuisine a tout ce qu’il faut. J’ai vraiment adoré l’ambiance familiale créé par les volontaires, un gros merci à eux🫶

Gostei bastante do Hostel!! Mas a cozinha é um desastre em relação a diversos Hostel que já fiquei.

Favourite hostel I’ve stayed in! We ended up extending our stay 3 times because we loved it so much. Special shout out to all the volunteers (particularly Abel and Ivi ❤️) who made our stay so special - they are so kind and make an effort to bring people together without forcing it. Rege, the owner, is so lovely and welcoming and has created a gorgeous space which feels homely and cosy. The hostel has a really nice social vibe and is super clean. Can’t wait to return!

+ lieux communs assez grands, cuisine fonctionnelle. il y a aussi des petits singes dans le jardin c'est plutôt cool ! Le personnel est gentil et l'hostel est bien placé. - gros bémol sur la chambre de 10 lits, c'est très mal aéré, les lits bougent et il est difficile de dormir correctement. Un coup de neuf dans la chambre serait le bienvenu

Central, volontaires sympas

A really nice, chilled hostel! All the staff are so friendly and welcoming, the hostel is kept very clean, the cooking area is really spacious, air con in the private room was a huge bonus!! Really recommend this place to people! Monkeys in the trees around the hostel were so nice and the Açai place attached to the building is SO good!!

Really nice hostel, well located and with nice rooms. Would benefit from some effort to organise activities or some events but overall its a good place to stay and chill for a few days.
