The Ocean Hostel

Ange and the people are amazing, they make you feel at home as soon as you walk in. The hostel is in such a great location near beaches, sea and forests. Would so recommend this hostel if you want to relax and explore the beaches

When I came to the hostel, there was no staff and I had to wait, then I left my bag and went out. My room didn't have a key, nor the gate of the hostel itself. No soap in the soap containers to clean hands. I personally don't like pets in the house, so I didn't like when a cat was going there freely, therefore I avoid sitting on the seats on the shared space. Very loud music and talks of the staff in the evenings, even after 23:00, when all visitors want is total quiet after long day of travel...

Muy acogedor, excelente vista a pocos pasos de la playa, lugar muy tranquilo, con estacionamiento tanto en las independencias como en el exterior, servicio de desayuno

I had a great time at The Ocean Hostel. This place has got a very homey vibe about it, I immediately felt super comfortable when I got there. It’s pretty much on the beach and walking distance to the nearest shops / supermarket. Highly recommend if you want a chill hostel getaway from the big cities in chile and some time to reconnect with nature and the ocean. Juan the owner is also a legend, had some great chats and fun with him. Including a crazy stand up paddle board adventure!

No me gustó porque decía que venía con desayuno incluido y al llegar habían olvidado nuestra reserva y nos dijeron que ellos venden los desayunos lo encontré super mentira de parte de su página, y tuve muchos inconvenientes al ir, el lugar era bueno pero tiene que mejorar en su administración

Excelente , mas que recomendable en todos los apectos , volveria a ir

A few issues happened but it was overcome by the staff. The hostel platform sells a type of room that does not exist as well the breakfast offer, it said i was included but it was not.

Quedarme en la hostal de JP fue una gran experiencia, el host es muy amable y fue un gusto poderlo conocer. La habitación estaba limpia y muy cómoda, se escucha un poco los ruidos de otras piezas, pero todos fueron prudentes en mantener silencio en la noche. Queda muy cerca de la playa y es uno de los puntos más fuertes, ya que puedes visitar la playa fácilmente. El hostal tiene todas las comodidades, el único punto a mi parecer para mejorar es el agua de la ducha ya que salía fría y en o...

Friendly, comfy and good vibes :)

Está muy cerca de la playa y a la vez permite moverse muy bien entre Algarrobo y El Quisco. Nosotros andábamos a pie y nunca tuvmios problemas para encontrar Uber, que sale muy barato desde el hostal tanto a Algarrobo como a El Quisco (entre $2.500 y $3.500 el viaje). El hostal está en una casa muy bonita con una amplia terraza y un patio muy verde. Lxs chicxs que llevan el hostal son muy buena onda. Es limpio y tranquilo. Precio-calidad excelente.

hola estuve de paso con mi hija y lo pasamos excelente juan pablo el chico que nos recibió fue muy amable y las chicas del servicio un 7, esta muy cerca de la playa (literalmente), y para comer y comprar tambien, la ubicación escuchas el mar es buena para todo en general, sin dudas volveré ...muchas gracias x todo.

Excelente hostal para ir a relajarse y disfrutar. El ambiente es muy acogedor. Está cerca de playas muy bellas como el canelo, con acceso a través del bosque, lo que lo hace una experiencia hermosa. Puedes ir sola, solo, con amigos o con niños ya que la seguridad del lugar te da tranquilidad. Juan Pablo, el dueño, es muy carismático y Nani es súper atenta de que nada te falte y de mantener el lugar limpio y cómodo. 10/10

Ein sehr liebevoll gestaltetes kleines Hostel in unmittelbarer Nähe zu Strand und Naturschutzgebiet. Die tolle Natur in der Umgebung lässt sich super zu Fuß erkunden. Der Staff ist sehr nett und steht einem mit Rat und Tat zur Seite.
