Nice hostel! Beds are super comfortable, bathrooms are fine. Not social, but Port Barton isn’t super social in general. Lovely to be right on the beach in the middle of everything. Not their fault, but the electric and water didn’t work at night due to the current gas issue. I don’t feel like anything was offered to us as guests during this time and that was frustrating as we’re paying a lot to stay here. They should have generators for emergencies like this as it’s an ongoing issue
Really good time here, 6 bed dorms were spacious, clean & good shower, staff friendly - helped with booking transfers and to book me onto a boat tour. This was great as you’re joined by people from other hostels / hotels so easy opportunity to meet new people. Quality of the tour and the stops included was also really good. Watching sunsets from the beach hut balcony is incredible.
Loved my stay at Seaside! 6-bed dorms feel private, no creaky beds, thick mattress + duvet, cold room. Each bed has outlet, lamp, towel. Big lockers. Hot showers. Outdoor drying area is a plus. Beachfront sunsets are amazing, with bar/restaurant and chill spots. Staff are super kind and welcoming. Wish I stayed longer!
Super nice hostel and liked the beachfront vibe. It wasn’t mega social but a lot of port Barton hostels are like that so don’t let it put you off, I really liked it here. They organise boat days if you need to meet ppl!! Super comfy dorms

The hostel is truly beautiful, right on the beach. You wake up a few meters from the ocean. The staff is the nicest. Very clean overall and beds are comfortable. Only downsides: the window next to the beds didn’t hide all the light which was a bit annoying in the morning, and there was loud music in the bar next door until midnight every day and we got woken up in the morning by loud music in the hostel common area at 7:30am. Otherwise it was a very nice hostel overall.
Great location & lovely, clean room. They ran out of water for a few hours in the evening when we needed a shower after a longer day, which was annoying but communicated well. One of our beds fell through the floor boards which was poor but how it was dealt with was even worse. Being told it was our fault when it wasn’t and reception staff laughed at it. They fixed it by putting another plank of wood on top still leaving a hole in the floor. Not a great experience overall.
Lovely place to stay at! The staff is very kind & helpful. Only thing I would recommend to improve is to be able to lock the dorms (but I never felt unsafe!!). The music from the restaurant next to it is loud until 11-12ish but that didn’t bother me :)
Absolutely loved staying here!! The staff were so welcoming and lovely, great outdoor area to chill and right on the beach which was the best part! The only down side was there was sand everywhere but that’s expected at a beach and the bar next door plays music until 11pm but I would highly recommend staying here!!
Definitely the best hostel in Port Barton, directly at the beach. The dorms are very clean and comfortable. The Staff is amazing as well thank you Marianne, Mallie and Aira for the amazing stay :)))
Very nice place in a such beautiful town with cosy atmosphere. The place is really on the beach and the staff is really kind. I fully recommend !

Super Hostel! Wir hatten ein Privat Zimmer. Schöne Lage direkt am Strand. Personal super freundlich.
The hostel room itself was nice and the beach was literally outside the front door! Nice bar and seating area to watch the sunset. The bathroom was often very wet as the shower was right next the toilet with no curtain. Didn’t love that the door does not lock and because it is on the beach front anyone could theoretically walk in.
loved the location. staff where great. even though I felt safe not having a lock on the door knocked points off, I think it's needed, although I know it's not the norm on port barton.

Mooi hostel, leuk aan het strand. Niet zo sociaal aangezien er niet een gedeelde ruimte is (alleen een restaurant). Personeel heel vriendelijk en ruime kamers.
This hostel is beautiful, and right on the beach. Our room was very comfortable, with a clean private bathroom. However, it is on the pricier side for Port Barton. The outdoor seating area is very nice, and the food in the on site restaurant is decent. You do get what you pay for with the amazing view. There was no lock on our dorm door which we found a little strange but we did feel safe overall in the hostel. There was big lockers in the room that fit our big bags and small bags.
Geweldig hostel!! Lekkere bedden, schone douches die altijd warm water hadden en de locatie is top!
