It was a beautifully restored inn with great ambience. They have a flower garden in their front yard. If you wish to feel greatly welcome, this is the place to be. You would have the pleasure to get to know Eric, Sammie and Limin. The room is very comfortable; and they can help to arrange the activities around the area. For non mandarin speakers, you have english, french, spanish and cantonese speakers at this inn. They really go out of their way to help you. Thank you for the lovely welcome.

The acommodation is spacious, light, clean and of course in the world's most beautiful setting! It's a unique place in that it offers truly exceptional support; the team are as invested in your stay as you are. Before our trip they recommended astrill VPN, WeChat and alipay - this saved us in China! They were also immensely helpful organising trips/taxis/tours throughout our stay - we left feeling very relaxed because they removed all the stresses of travelling. Thankyou Yangshuo Eden YHA ❤️

Sammy und Eric haben tatsächlich ein kleines Eden geschaffen! Wir haben uns bei ihnen wie zu Hause gefühlt! Das ganze Team hat uns mit Rat und Tat zur Seite gestanden, ob beim Fahrräder ausleihen, Tipps für Unternehmungen oder Apps erklären. Total hilfreich, danke dafür 💚 Die Unterkunft ist wunderschön, ruhig gelegen und hat alle Einrichtungen wie angegeben. Bei unserem nächsten Besuch in Yangshuo kommen wir auf jeden Fall wieder!

Excellent option if you want to travel through china in hostels. The dorms were clean, the beds were comfy and the showers were hot. Eric and Sammie will give you all the information you need for Yangshuo and can give you really good suggestion on what to do in the area based on your budget. They work super hard to make sure you have a good stay. You can join them to eat every night which is really useful as you get familiarised with the local restaurants and cuisine - plus they get a discount!

Host was very helpful. Staff was so sweet and always prepared to help us! Thanks for the enjoyable stay!

The ho(s)tel is in a village close to Yangshuo but still everything that you want is close: river (5min walking), bamboo rafting (10min walking) scooter/bike rental and restaurants in front of the door. The friendly and extremly helpful couple made the stay my best hostel experience in China! Merci to Sammie + Eric

I wanted to escape the big Chinese cities and got exactly what I needed. Here was by far my favourite time I spent in China. Better take minimum four days here, as there are many things for you to explore. Tipp: take into consideration to spend some time at the Inn. It is super cosy and Eric & Semmie are wonderful people, taking such good care of everybody. Thanks for everything, See you soon :)

Above all expectations ! The hotel is very comfortable and friendly. I've checked the dormitories also which are much higher level compared to all what I've seen. The value for money is very good. The location is perfect, close to river side and fields and allowing to do all activities. Also there are many restaurant in the street. And the staff : Limin, Sammie and Eric are very helpful. I've spent a marvelous trip thanks to them ! I will come back, but for a longer time next time.

We stayed in the YangShuo Eden YHA in Feb 2024. It was a very nice stay, the rooms are massive and the owners were very friendly. They helped up find the best places to visit and were very knowledgeable about the city. It was a bit cold as it was the middle of winter, but the rooms had electric blankets so we warmed up quickly. The hostel is very good value for money and we would recommend it to everyone.

New owners since 23, the place is switching from a full YHA to a classy hotel. Although, the international owners wants to keep the traveling mood alive with rooms for curious/social backpackers. The result is a very confortable place, spacious rooms, great lobby, super welcoming international staff, near a calm and beautiful river. Quite a walk from the city (1,5h or 10min didi), but it’s what it takes to arrive in paradise. Not the cheapest option around, but value and experience of the char...

Warmth, attentiveness and friendliness at its finest. Is clean, quiet, nice bar, close to an amazing scenery (Yulong River)There are books to read, quiet living rooms, billiard...Room: clean, well furnished, nice bathroom, beautiful sink and tap. Towels are given at check in.The highlight: its people. I couldn't have been taken care better. Very helpful, they know how to make a stay intro a beautiful memory.They speak perfectly english, spanish and french. You were the best of my trip so far.

Great place to stay in a wonderful setting away from the overdeveloped centre of town. Lovely clean rooms with very welcome aircon. And a nice cafe/bar area where the French manager Eric serves up the best breakfast coffee and croissants this side of Paris. Only 5 minutes away from the beautiful Yulong river. I liked it so much I stayed an extra day

This is an absolute gem of a hotel - if you have been lucky enough to stumble upon it I couldn’t recommend it highly enough. The hotel is slightly out of the main Yangshuo town but this is 100% a strength not a weakness. Getting into town is still very easy and you will thank yourself for booking somewhere a bit away from the tourist mania of Yangshuo. It is located in a very pleasant village and is just a walking distance from a number of great local restaurants and some incredible scenery.
