We really wanted to like this property as all the reviews seemed amazing. But unfortunately, the shower was extremely cold and the lock to the main accommodation was impossible to open. The charging ports in the room did not work either. We were in the double room so maybe it’s better it the dorm rooms

Ce petit hostel est situé au dessus du café. Vous avez un dortoir et deux chambres il me semble. J’étais seule dans le dortoir, j’ai pu cuisiner tranquillement et me reposer dans le salon. L’équipe a l’air sympa mais je les ai vus seulement pour le check in et check out en allant dans le café. Je n’ai donc pas bénéficié de conseils particuliers, je me suis sentie plus dans un hôtel plutôt qu’un hostel, ce qui ne m’a pas spécialement dérangé le temps de quelques nuits.

A really nice hostel a few steps from the main square. Our room was really spacious and clean, and the wifi worked well. The hostel was quite cold, but the blankets were enough to keep us warm overnight. Only minor issues were that the laundry service was unavailable, and we were asked to pay the night before we left after having already paid at check-in. Would happily stay again if we return to Monguí.

Un hostel à taille humaine, chaleureux et bien entretenu. Le patron est aussi le barista du café juste en dessous, il est super gentil et nous a très bien accueilli. je recommande !

When I arrived they seem to have had forgotten about my reservation and had given the only private room to other guests. I had to stay in the dorm room for 1 night, but they did adjust the price and gave me a complimentary coffee. More effort has been put into decor than comfort. The dorm room and common area each had only one dim bulb for lighting, not even enough to read a book by. Water pressure was weak. The young woman who runs the place keeps it spotless and was always pleasant and helpful

I really enjohed this hostel, it was the perfect place for mmy first few nights in Colombia. the staff were very nice and the location was perfect, everything was really accessible on foot. The beds were comfortable and there was good privacy, and ssome nice communal areas to chill. Overall would recommend and would come again

l'hostal est tout mignon, avec du parquet, une cheminée, des peintures et muraux magnifiques et un coin pour lire avec des peintures fluorescente au mur! le café au rez de chaussé a de bonnes patisseries et des cafés speciaux de Boyacá. Le personnel est tres gentil et l'hostal est tres bien placé au centre de Mongui, village calme et plein de charme !

Petit hostel tout mignon très bien équipé, très propre et bien décoré. Duvan est adorable et toujours dispo pour aider, pour un prix super raisonnable !

Great location one block off plaza. Small cozy hostel, 4 bed dorm not crowded. Nice wall paintings. Only one bathroom/ shower, too crowded when hostel is full. Needs more hooks on wall to hang clothes. Cold at night, needs more blankets. Stove doesn't light by itself so couldn't cook. Hostel ran out of filtered water. Top bunk bed frames only sitting on bottom bunk, was afraid big person in top bunk might roll over causing bunk to fall off onto bunk below. Shower cold sometimes.

L'hôtel est très joliment peint et équipé, ce qui laisse supposer un séjour au top. Malheureusement les lits ne sont pas confortables en dortoir, et il y fait un froid extrême, de jour comme de nuit. Difficile d'y passer une bonne soirée quand il y fait 15 degrés maximum en plein été... Pas de bois à disposition pour la cheminée, le propriétaire absent des lieux n'a pas eu l'air de s'en émouvoir quand on lui en a parlé par SMS... Pas d'eau potable, isolation phonique inexistante a...

Great hostal and coffee too. The staff is amazing. The kitchen is nice too.

The place is nice, has a cafe in the same building and the people are helpfull. Only thing is that the place can get pretty cold in the evening.

Lovely small property, Duvan and Daniela were helpful and able to answer any questions I had. It’s well located next to the plaza principal so easy to get around.

A bit different then in the description. For example there is certainly no 24h reception. You will get a key to the hostal - the staff only comes for check-in/ if there is something to do. And btw: There is no ATM in Monguí so come with Cash :-)

Super hostel, très bon accueil, très jolie petit maison bien décorée, lit confortable et en bonus le petit café en bas tenu par le propriétaire ! Très chouette endroit, merci pour l’accueil! Je recommande! ☀️
