The green lotus is a good Hostel. Sitti & Jeff are very kind and welcoming. The only negative point is the location, you are a little far from Ipoh city. But if you want to chill and rest it's a good place.
Very friendly Host's. Its in an nice quiet Neighborhood. Definitely come back next time. Highly recommend!
We loved our stay at Green Lotus Resthouse. Our bedroom had a beautiful view looking across to the river and trees, in the morning you could hear the birds singing which was so peaceful. Jeff and Sisi were really warm and welcoming, easy to speak go and made us feel at home. I highly recommend staying here.

My room was spotlessly clean, the hosts were a lovely young couple who want nothing but to help and advise. Laundry service was very good too It’s a little out of town but a lovely spot by the river and very peaceful Thankyou
The hostel was very clean and good location wise as well as the facilities such as showers being warm. The host Jeff was very accommodating and talkative always gave us recommendations on where to go. Would go back there and would recommend.
Lovely guesthouse, very relaxing stay and great value
Eine nette Unterkunft. Durch die ruhige Lage kann man hier gut zur Ruhe kommen. Habe dann immer ein Grab in die Stadt genommen, nicht ideal, aber trotzdem okay. Die Gastgeber sind sehr nett und helfen gerne mit Tips oder bei Fragen weiter und sind auch für einen netten Schwatz zu haben.

Felt so safe and welcomed,Would definitely love to come back again. Perfect choice if you are a solo traveller or with friends. Room is so clean, the house is so cozy and The location is amazing surrounded by nature There are a lot of restaurant nearby The family running the Guesthost is so friendly and kind, you would love to meet them. This was an incredible place to stay! The young couple that run the place are so lovely, they have loads of great recommendations for Ipoh and are just lovely to chat to! The location is lovely too, it’s in a very safe and quiet village in Ipoh surrounded by nature. I felt very safe walking to and from town as a female solo traveller. I ended up extending my stay here as I loved it, it was a nice break from busy hostels. I have been recommending this place to everyone !
Insgesamt hat es mir sehr gut gefallen, das Guesthouse ist in einer sehr ruhigen Gegend gelegen, trotzdem kann man zu Fuß die Stadt erreichen. Die Gastgeber sind auch sehr nett und hilfreich. Es gibt keine Klimaanlage.
Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen. Wir hatten ein grosszügiges Doppelzimmer mit Badezimmer. Die Gastgeberin hat alle unsere Fragen beantwortet und uns Tipps gegeben.
Lovely place next to a pretty river…such a nice and relaxing place.
I really enjoyed my stay of a few days here with Jeff and Siti - both of whom were welcoming, helpful and knowledgeable of the local area. The guesthouse is slightly out of the city centre, however is beautifully positioned adjacent to the river in a peaceful neighbourhood. If you're looking for a chill stay in an interesting town, this is the place for you!
If you are searching for a peaceful place in a residential area of Ipoh this place is for you. If you are more up to be in the buzz of the old town this place is a bit far out. You will stay in the house of a hospitable couple, who did their own share of traveling. They can give you advise about what to do in/around Ipoh.
