Biergarten Hostel

É com grande tristeza que venho hoje registrar uma avaliação negativa para o Biergarten. Esta é a minha segunda visita ao local, e, ao contrário da minha primeira experiência, que foi excelente, desta vez não posso dizer o mesmo. Estávamos em um grupo de 5 mulheres e fizemos a reserva com bastante antecedência pelo Hostelworld, garantindo um quarto de 6 camas com banheiro privativo. Le personnel est très agréable et gentil toutefois, nous avons trouvé des tiques à plusieurs reprises dans nos lits, notre climatisation ne fonctionnait pas.

L’établissement dans son ensemble est correct. Cependant l’organisation laisse à désirer, le Checkout n’est pas à midi selon le site mais 11h, les réceptionnistes ne sont pas tous très qualifiés et parfois peu aimables. L’hygiène au niveau des chambres et des cuisines n’est pas extra. Le seul point positif reste le prix, mais bon dans ce genre de situation, autant prendre un peu plus cher pour plus de confort.

The staff were amazing there! All the Argentinian girls were so kind and welcoming! The vibe in the hostel was fantastic!

gran ubicación y atención de parte de los trabajadores pero la limpieza de los baños deja muchísimo que desear y las camas son muy incómodas

Slight concern over security as no lock on our door and people can easily walk in and out of the hostel. you have to pay extra for lockers which were a bit flimsy. Also a few live wires in the bathroom. The rooms surround the communal area where music plays from morning until 11ish at night so we struggled to get a good night sleep. Staff are friendly but speak little English. Probably suited for young travellers looking to socialise rather than a place to relax

Decent hostel! Though I had a very unpleasant experience regarding lockers. Someone was given the spare key of my locker. When they figured out it was already being used, staff told this person to remove my things from the locker(??) I came back to the hostel finding that my valuables were outside the locker all day!! Anyone can walk in and out of the hostel and there are no keys for the rooms. They don’t pay attention to wristbands at the entrance because I have not worn mine during my stay.

Do not stay here! The staff are rude. Music is allowed all night. Random dogs run into the rooms from the street. The showers are dirty and broken. Not worth it at all. Much better places to stay on Ilha Grande

NO LO RECOMIENDO Si bien “es uno de los mejores hostel de la zona” según la dueña y la puntuación, con mi novio tuvimos una muy mala experiencia la primera noche. Cuando llegamos a ilha grande salimos a un bar esa misma noche y a las 4 am que volvimos al hostel, entramos a la habitación y habían dos personas durmiendo en nuestras camas, el personal a cargo del momento que supuestamente era el guardia para no incomodar a nadie de la habitación quería que nosotros nos cambiáramos d...

Good staff but beds are small and showers are also small. The doors of the dorms are not secured but overall ok

1. La atención deja mucho que desear, nos vendieron la estadía con desayuno y cuando llegamos nos dijeron que desde noviembre no lo daban más y te lo cobran aparte. 2. Las sábanas de una de las camas estaban sucias y tuvimos que pedir que las cambiaran además de que las camas no estaban echas. 3. Parte del personal de limpieza pone música a todo volumen para limpiar a las 7am al lado de las ventanas de los dormitorios. 4. La música en vivo es mala y diaria. 5. No volveríamos.

Me encanta este hostel pero realmente tiene que hacer baños (sector inodoro) más cómodos. En la cocina podrían tener un microondas. El resto muy bien !

Stayed for two nights in November. It was fairly quiet and I didn't meet many English speaking travelers but this might vary depending on the time of year. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was good. The rooms were basic but fine.

Its okay for one or two nights. The location is good, but it seemed like the staff was overall not intrested at all in helping the guests, they made their own thing. One night they were partying infront of the dorm rooms the whole night and when asked to be a bit more quiet they just laughed and didn't care.

Basically a nice hostel with nice staff, you can definitely have a good time there. Comfort & facilities are below average.

Leukste en liefste personeel dat ik ooit in een hostel heb getroffen. De accommodatie is schoon en het ontbijt is prima. Geen aanrader als je vroeg naar bed wil, door het aangrenzende café is er tot 12 uur (life) muziek.

Nettes Hostel, sehe zu empfehlen

Unsafe. Expensive. Noisy. Bad facilities. Staff don’t care. Anyone can walk off the street and into the rooms, and in the 4 person dorms there are only 2 lockers, so 2 people can’t store valuables. There’s minimal common areas to relax in. The staff stay up late playing music and drinking in the kitchen, and every room faces the bar or kitchen, so it is so loud. Ideally located a short walk from the boat pier in the main town. I had a nice stay here ,very social . The staff were nice . Showers not cleaned very regularly it appeared . Breakfast consists of coffee+ juice + empanada. Very basic but the empanada was soooo tasty. Staff allowed me to shower and use faculties the evening after check out which was nice. Only possible gripe is no locks on rooms or entrance and my hostel room only had 2 lockers for 4 beds ? The island is however very safe.
