Angelica's Backpacker's Hostel

This is the only review you will need to read, if you are considering staying at Angelica. 2 words: DO IT. This is by far the best hostel I have ever been at. Spacious rooms, they have single beds too in the rooms, not just bunk beds and a terrace for each room. Big garden/outdoor kitchen and hanging out area with a swimming pool. Every room has it's own bathroom with shower. And the biggest feature of this place, in my opinion and in the opinion of many, is Angelica herself. The perfect host!!!

It is one of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed in. The family treats you like you are a part of it, they genuinely care about your wellbeing. They give you lots of recommendations and they’re always open for a chat. Also it is very clean and my bed was very comfy. There is a kitchen area as well so you can cook. I am so grateful for my stay there, thank you! :)

Wir hatten zwei superschöne Tage in Angelica's Hostel. Angelica und ihre Mutter sind wirklich superlieb und helfen einem bei allem weiter. Die Ausstattung und die Zimmer sind ebenfalls super! Würde auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

Best hostel experience ever!!! Treated like family by Angelica and Chris the hosts! Forever grateful that Angelica drove me to dinner twice, to the bus stop and picked up cold medicine for me! They were so kind! There was a good group of other solo travellers when I visited in September 2025.

I was sceptical at first about all the positive reviews but I can confirm they are 100% right, this is the best hostel I’ve ever stayed at. Literally everything you need is provided there (beach towels, free lockers, parking, kitchen, swimming pool, fridges,…). The only downside is that the beaches close by are not as pretty as others on the island but if you just rent a car or scooter you can quickly get everywhere you want. The town, supermarket and gas station are very close.

Angelica was extremely helpful and accommodating. She replied to emails with recommendations on getting to the hostel, and let me shift back my reservation by 1 day. There was also a good social atmosphere where everyone got together to eat breakfast and dinner together as well as socialize afterwards.

Had the most amazing time at Angelica’s, would love to go back! Angelica is there to meet you, give you a big bottle of water and show you around the hostel, all of the staff are very kind and friendly and the hostel has such a homey feel about it. The rooms are spotless and there’s lots of storage space. The facilities are amazing with a great outdoor kitchen as well as the rooms having their own mini cooking facilities. The backyard is great for socialising and we loved the pool!

Such a lovely hostel and host! I absolutely recommend you stay here. It was clean, close to the beach, and Angelica bought a cake for a small gathering we had for some of guests' birthdays, which was nice. It's one bus from the port so not too hard to get to. Just make sure to look up bus time tables in advance as public buses don't run super frequently.

Wonderful cute little hostel. I loved the garden and the fact that the dorms had an own fridge and kitchen. Such a lovely lady who owns the place

Great Hostel. Owner extremely lovely and helpful. Property is clean. A little far from town but close to the beach. Great outdoor cooking area. Pool. Private rooms were sweet as. Showers leave a bit to be desired but the host makes up for it with hoe helpful she is. Met an awesome bunch there and scoorered the island beaches. Full washing and hang out service available. Would stay again.

Super Ort zum Entspannen und auch um mit anderen Leuten in Kontakt zukommen. Sehr sauber und gepflegt. Gastgeberin Angelika ist super und aufmerksam. Sehr gerne wieder!

Absolute best place to stay on the island! Angelica is lovely and more than happy to pick you up from the bus stop especially if you are carrying lots of luggage. The rooms are clean and outdoor kitchen area is such a vibe and great for meeting people. Very relaxed environment and you can relax in the backyard in the hammocks or sun beds. I would 100/10 recommend!

Awesome spot in Northern Corfu. Angelica and her family go out of their way to help you (ask her for trip and restaurant recommendations). Would reccomend renting a vehicle once you reach the hostel.

By far the best hostel I stayed at and that is saying something, because I've travelled quite a bit. Angelica is a great host! So chill and so friendly. Upon arrival, we called her because we didn't know if we were going to the right address and she actually took her car and came to pick us up. She also did our bed and washed our dishes during the day (which we had not asked for). Me and my friend felt like we were in a hotel. Also, the north of the island is the best part of it.

Angelica is a sweetheart and the north of the island is beautiful (although you want to make sure you have a car or a moped to explore as it is a bit remote)

Great value for money in N. Corfu. Special place!
