Attrus Bed & Breakfast

I got woken up 1:45 am by staff barging in the dorm room almost yelling to two Indian people in order to show them their bunk bed, staff then turned the AC fan up and lowered the temperature to 17C, when the room was already well tempered at a more reasonable 22C, woke up freezing and sniffling. The day prior to checking out I had specifically asked if it would be an issue to check out at 6am due to an early train, should've been manned from 5am, but there were no receptionist 6:15, inexcusable

Good place if you’re just looking for somewhere to stay but not great staff and no social vibe at all

It was ok, but nothing to special. My bed didnt have a place to put my bag, which was annoying.

Bett war sehr sauber, das Bad war auch völlig in Ordnung. Nur leider bin ich vorort auf keine anderen Backpacker gestoßen. Die anderen Gäste waren nur dort um tagsüber in singapur zu arbeiten. Auch sonst gibt es in JB nicht viel zu erleben. Um Forest city oder das Legoland zu besuchen ist es super.

Wie hatten etwas anderes erwartet, frühstück gab es nicht. Zimmer war sehr sauber

There are people living here long term so the dorms are filled with luggage and things, it’s hard to walk around. The locker under my bed was taken by someone living there long term but I was able to use the one outside the dorm so no big deal. My sheets had stains on them. My only major complaint is the smell throughout the entire hostel. It was honestly really bad. They try to mask it with perfume scents everywhere which gave me a headache. Great location & easy to sleep in there

Es gab ausreichend Storageroom um seine Sachen wegzuschließen. Das Bett war auch echt gemütlich. Wirklich geschlafen habe ich trotzdem nicht, da der Bass und die Musik vor dem Hostel einfach viel zu laut waren. Personal war nett und hilfreich. Dusche ist kalt, aber es waren ausreichend vorhanden. Sauberkeit ist für die Standards in Malaysia auf einem normalen Level würde ich sagen. Zahlungen für Zimmer sind nur in Cash möglich, weswegen ich vor dem Einchecken nochmal in die Stadt laufen mu...

Let’s get the positive out of the way. The staffs are somewhat helpful. The location is central. This is not a hostel cater to the tourists. If you’re travelling for leisure, I would not recommend this hostel. I was misguided by other high ratings for this place. You can spend a little more in JB and book a hotel instead.

Good location and good atmosphere that makes a hostel successful. Staff are friendly. It was a fantastic good stay.

Perfect location. Once you find the short cuts through the nearby buildings, it is a breeze to walk to the JB CIQ. The only issues is the hot water heaters in the bathrooms. All the temperature control knobs are not working so you ended up taking cold showers.

Big comfortable bed with a blinder giving privacy and shelf+mirror. Lockers provided Where you can fit hand luggage. I got one outside and one underneath bed (This one require own locker). Specious and clean bathrooms, suitable amount of cabins and seperate Man/woman. Very Good location.

I enjoyed my time. Showers could use some maintenance. Attrus bag is a nice touch

Very friendly and helpful staff. The place consists of long term stay and short stay like me. The long term stay guest in my room doesnt seems knowing someone was there when my first day there. Could you imagine the light was on at 4am while you are sleeping soundly? and nonetheless the noise made. It would be better if they have a system that could be cleared for others to know whether there is others in the same room/whether the bed is occupied.

Booked a stay for day rest and it turned out to be better than expected. Dormitory is clean, overall vibe is nice & cosy. Staff is really friendly & helpful. Plenty of food choices to dine within or nearby cafeteria less than 5 min walk from hostel. Wld recommend to everyone!

Excellent location near JB Sentral, excellent pods with place for luggage (some beds come with a spacious locker, others only with a small one under the bed). Comfortable mattress, large cover, large towel, light, socket ( can be used for several plug types), hook for clothing, elegant blind (with light switched on, you are visible though), slippers for going to the bathroom or communal area on F1. Rack for drying laundry with fan above to speed up drying, iron available. Large communal area.
