Sun & Surf Hostel

Very remote but perfect if you want quiet and not crowded. Amazing surflessons! No curtains on top bunks and not every bed has an outlet, no lights by the beds. I would definitely recommend staying here for the vibe and great surf lessons!

Great stay!! Super clean, social but chill. The kitchen is great super clean and can use any time! Ming was AMAZING! He made the stay.. setting up surfing, family dinner, helping us out when we need it! Thank you Ming, you’re amazing! Can’t recommend hostel enough! Only thing is the floor boards are wooden so if your staying in the dorm you can feel the vibration of everyone walk, which I found difficult but apart from that can’t recommend enough!

I really loved my stay at the hostel! I loved the chilled vibe :) its easy to rent a scooter and to drive around. Also the family dinner was so nice and i had the best time surfing with ming and Jake :) definitly recommended!

Amazing hostel! So friendly and helpful staff that helped us get scooters and all that we wished for. Very cozy shared space with games and books that were free to use. We met so many nice people here that we went out with in the evenings and cooked together.

Great hostel, really nice social space that feels homely. Complete kitchen facilities and staff are really helpful, friendly and a great surf instructor! Only slightl downsides is the top bunks don’t have curtains and there’s no hot water for showering but that’s expected with the more remote location.

Sun and Surf was the perfect sized hostel to meet people in a qieut neighborhood. Ming is such an accomodating host. The rooms are well looked after and toilets are well kept. The kitchen provides enough supplies to cook your own food. The location is also in a good spot to go surfing across the northern and souther parts of the island. It's also between burgos and alegria, which provides enough options around to find food as well. Overall, a very happy experience with the hostel.

it's a realy small hostel. We loved our stay at Sun and Surf hostel. The location is good. The help you book trasportation and activities.

J’ai passé un super moment dans cet hostel au nord de l’île, beaucoup plus authentique et moins touristique. Je suis déçue d’avoir déjà réservé la suite de mon voyage au sud car je serais restée ici plus longtemps 🥹! Merci encore 🙌!

We enjoyed staying at this hostel so much! You are directly part of a big family and they really want to connect people and make everybody’a stay perfect! Within minutes we booked surf sessions, had a scooter and they invited us for a family dinner with everyone! We would have loved to stay there longer and we are definitely coming back :)

The loveliest hostel! We met great people and the hosts were so helpful. One of the best hostels we’ve stayed at. Location wise it’s great staying in a community village but you will definitely need a bike to get around. The owner owns a bike shop next door for reasonable rates.

Energy was great in there, one of the best common areas I've been to recently - just a shame it's so secluded. Switched to the dorm cause the private only had a fan but there was no issue and I was informed that getting a unit for that room is on the top of their list. I forgot my towel & swim stuff but one of the workers managed to get it dropped off to me which I was so grateful for! There were ants in the woodwork of my partners' bed unfortunately

An amazing and very special hostel. It’s the best hostel I stayed, it’s small but it has everything you need and more. The atmosphere is really nice, it’s very social and warm The staff is excellent as well! They help you with everything you need and they offer a variety of services and activities. I had an amazing cozy stay at this hostel in the beautiful north of Siargao. It feels like a home, and I extended twice, and was really sad to leave (Just like most of the others). The people who work there are nice they become your friends. Other travelers are super chill, mostly surfers, who just wanna hang out together and go on that adventures. It may not be the most luxurious hostel, but it’s so lovely and got everything you need. They clean everyday, the kitchen is so nice to have

A laid back, welcoming and homely hostel situated away from the chaos of General Luna. Absolutly loved my stay here, the hostel all ate together and chilled together. Its situated in a lovley little philippino village, very peaceful and the locals are lovley. lots of good surf opportunitys close by and much less croweded waves. Very clean, locks provided for lockers and comfy beds! Definitely reccomend Sun & Surf hostel ✌️

Sun & Surf est une petite pépite. Passer quelques jours dans cet hostel c’est vivre l’expérience authentique au sein du petit village de Burgos. On s’y sent comme à la maison entre les parties communes spacieuse et agréable, les family dinner, les enfants du voisinage qui viennent faire un coucou. Situé à proximité des restaurants et du spot de surf (à condition d’avoir un scooter). Et le gérant Nuki est adorable et très accueillant. Ambiance très conviviale !
