Zen Zone Hostel

It’s a 30 min walk downhill from the centre which is fine. There’s a bus stop near by which is convenient. However, the door to the mixed bed doesn’t close properly. There’s only one bathroom and one toilet so have to wait ages to get one. Does provide lockers though which is good and you get curtains.

Il posto di per se non e' male, ma e' sprovvisto di reception e le camerate non avevano le chiavi. Oltretutto la porta principale si aprencon un codice numerico, che all' atto della prenotazione nessuno mi ha inviato.

You get what you pay for. The location is further away, though there is transits around. It’s all self-check in and monitored so doesn’t feel taken care of well. The dorms aren’t private from the rest of the rooms making it feel very open. Not great for solo travellers.

Sehr entspannt, familiär, sauber, gut für eine ruhige Nacht und vielleicht ein paar gute Gespräche :)

Pas de réception, difficile de parler avec l'hôte, ça pue partout à cause de la cuisine. Pas très propre, la politique de no shoes n'est pas respectée par tout le monde ! Mais pas de réception donc personne pour surveiller. C'est plus un Airbnb partagé qu'un hostel.

It's a nice place to relax. It is tucked away in a quiet area so you rarely hear any loud noise

Amazing value for money. Everything was clean and well organized. I would definitely stay here again

Beautiful hostel, super clean and quiet! Best night sleep I’ve had in a long time! Only down side is I couldt get in so was stood outside in the cold for about 20 minutes knocking. Apparently I should have been sent the entry door code but it wasn’t working through hostlworld…

Immensely clean, quiet and comfortable hostel. Very small and is not social, but that’s what I was looking for - to avoid a party hostel. Really nice overall, beds comfiest I’ve had travelling. My only criticism is to give better directions as google maps is faulty, a local resident actually helped me find it! Maybe upload pictures in an email of the direction. It was a very peaceful stay, the place is quiet, the dormitory is equipped with beds with curtains, which is a very pleasant and comfortable solution, the staff are very kind and quickly resolve any issue that may arise, I am very satisfied and thank them very much

Personeel super beleefd en gezellig. Accomodatie vinden was geen probleem mede doordat je na boeking een filmpje in de mail krijgt waar het exact is. Gezellige mensen en veilig gevoel gehad.

This was a tough one, neither Google nor Mapy app could figure out the directions. The code I had to open the door didn’t work. Email exchange & a new code!!!. We picked 2 bunks, but got told later we were in a private room but we were never given the code to the key box. The hostel description is false, no garden and no terrace. No air conditioning and no toiletries in our room. No staff on site and minimal cleaning out of garbage. Only 1 toilet and 1 shower.

It was my second time in Zen Zone Hostel, and my stay was perfect like last time. Really comfortable and in a good position. It was clean and i also enjoyed the company of the hostel staff.

The only positive is the price. The entrance is hard to find, with no signs. We never received check-in info and had to call the manager. Inside, everything is confusing: beds are not made (you have to get sheets from the hallway), only one bathroom and one shower for everyone, both dirty with bad smell and limescale. The kitchen is spacious and the beds are comfy with curtains, plugs, and lights, but the shared room door doesn’t close. Wouldn’t recommend.

Only 2 hours before I arrived I received an email saying that the private room I had booked months in advance was occupied. They offered dorm beds or cancellation. Complete mismanagement. Only one bathroom for the entire hostel, a hole in the bathroom door. Self service kills the vibe.

Nice small hostel, it was clean and staff friendly. Ive read some of the bad reviews but the problems people are mentioning are fixed now. Recommended.

My stay in Zen Zone hostel was a pleasure, it was well connected to the center and i could visit the beautiful Bratislava. The Hostel bed was comfortable and everything was to my satisfaction
