Downtown Forest Hostel & Camping

I stayed for two nights but checked out one night early. The place is okay overall, but a bit far from the city center—I’d prefer something closer. My main issue was the receptionist (a girl), who wasn’t helpful, though other staff were fine. The room locker is small, and you need to pay a deposit for a key. Overall, it’s average and I wouldn’t return. I’d rather pay more for a better location and friendlier service.

I would said that it’s little bit far from the old town area, could be 10mins away. Morning free coffee & tea is the plus point for this hostel. The bed not so comfortable by the way in overall I feel satisfied.

10/10 hostel for us!! The receptionist sorted out an error for us, and gave us an upgrade!! Atmosphere was great, great facilities, great location. Generally perfect!!!!! Loved the croissants at breakfast too.

Great place to stay- very welcoming and great communal facilities

I really liked my stay at this hostel. Great vibe, good surrounding area, clean, awesome staff, free coffee and tea at breakfast time. Only thing I would improve, since it's already a great hostel, is for the beds to have a curtin to give a little bit of personal space, if somebody chooses to, once they are in bed.

Really excellent location in a very nice city area but feels like you’re in the woods. It may not always be the best place for solo travelers that want to be social and meet people, but they do have live music events outside that can be social. Inside the hostel there are a lot of families. I was a solo traveler looking for a quiet place to work and it was fine. The wifi was good, the kitchen was nice, they had laundry and other services available plus lots of books and games.

The hostel was a good price compared to the others in the area and the room and beds were very clean. As there were no female dorms I picked the mixed dorm- I would advise solo female travellers to go elsewhere as the hostel seemed to have mostly older men. The female showers were clean but could tell they were not cleaned too often. The location was okay - a little further than the others and no social events at all.

Nice, big hostel with clean rooms. The croissants in the morning were great. We slept in the big dorm and it was okay. The door could only be opened with a code, which was great. Would recommend and do it again

Hygiene standarts were low.

Très bonne note dans l’ensemble hormis pour le personnel dont certaines personnes ont fait preuve d'un mauvais accueil en vous faisant sentir que vous n'étiez pas le bienvenu. Dommage sur ce point car l'hostel méritait bien mieux compte tenu de la localisation et surtout des équipements. Je recommanderais de venir au printemps/été.

A decent hostel with good facilities and a very helpful staff. We liked the location even though there was a walk (along the frozen river) into old town. Vilnius is so beautiful covered in snow! We asked to upgrade our dorm room to a private room, when we arrived, and the staff made it possible. In summer the outdoor area would be great.

Pretty Nice and quiet place. The place didn’t have much of an atmosphere but that might be ok for a lot of people. After walking all day, I did appreciate the quiet place. Also, it could have been quiet because it was the middle of the winter. They do have pics of bands playing in the backyard but it definitely looked like the summer time. The location is about 15 minutes from old town but half way to the 3 cross hike in case you are into hiking. I would stay here again if I’m in Vilnius.

Super séjour, rien ne manque et les gens super sympa.

Great value for money overall, but the beds were very unstable. I could feel every movement from the person in the upper bunk. The beds really need to be fixed to the wall or somehow stabilised.

we felt very safe and cozy. would definetly come back again :)
