I had a great time at La Tortuga. The hostel is a warm, friendly and an inclusive environment. The staff and volunteers are very helpful and have a comprehensive welcome pack with great activity and restaurant recommendations. The facilities are clean and the activities put on by the hostel are fun and well organised. La Tortuga war eins der tollsten Hostels, in denen ich bisher war! Die beiden Häuser sind sehr gemütlich und mit viel Liebe eingerichtet. Alles war sehr sauber und es gab tolle organisierte Aktivitäten, aber auch viele Möglichkeiten, selbst was zu planen und die Sachen vom Hostel dafür zu nutzen. Alle Leute vom Staff waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und haben sich viel Mühe gegeben, dass sich alle wohl fühlen. Außerdem gibt es eine super schöne outdoor shower und sehr süße Katzen...

Ein super Hostel! Es war sauber und die Atmosphäre war toll. Die Karte/Video mit den Tipps für Aktivitäten war super hilfreich, aber auch alle Staff's waren immer offen und hatten tolle Tipps! Ich werde wiederkommen :)

What an amazing hostel And staff. I originally booked into a mixed dorm, but as I haven't stayed in a dorm room in almost a decade I realised now I'm getting older it's just not for me. On day two I went to book into an available private room and was fully ready and expecting to pay for a new room - instead the lovely folks on reception offered to let me just pay the difference! Incredible. Such kind, lovely people. Additionally, there are kittens! I will definitely be returning.

Lovely hostel with a welcoming atmosphere and helpful staff. Also we used the hostels airport transfer which was very convenient as we were arriving late and our driver Yannick was also great.

Tolles Hostel mit gemeinschaftlicher Atmosphäre. Es ist in 2 Häuser aufgeteilt, eins etwas belebter und eins als ruhigen Rückzugsort. Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich und lustig. Das Hostel ist top ausgestattet und bietet verschiedene Services an, bzw. Man kann sich auch Fahrräder, Sonnenschirme, Spiele uvm. ausleihen. Uno de los mejores hostel en los que me he hospedado, la energía y la comunidad que han creado acá es hermosa, es mi primera vez en Tenerife y estaba un poco perdido jaja, pero escanee un código QR muy útil que me explicó muy bien la zona al rededor del hostel, además tienen muchas actividades de hecho justo me quedé el domingo donde hacen una actividad en la playa para ver el sunset y jugar volleyball 😍, me encantó todo !!! lo recomiendo realmente para cualquier persona 🐢 🫶🏻

This hostel feels like a family welcoming you into a relaxing place with plenty of love and cosy energy. The hostel is not a buzzing party hive but more of a comfortable laid back spot to recoup and relax.

L’ostello è veramente fantastico! Personale e volontari sono stati super disponibili in ogni cosa, pieno di servizi e attività per gli ospiti, posizione a 10 minuti dal mare e stanze e luoghi comuni molto puliti e accoglienti! Super consigliato!!

Jeden z nejlepších hostelů, kde jsem zůstala. Hned na začátku jsou všichni moc milí, recepce mi představila další hosty a aktivity. Pokoje jsou dobře vybavené a čisté, stejně tak sdílená koupelna a kuchyň. Na zahradě je útulná terasa s bazénem. Dobrovolníci jsou nápomocní a ochotní - večer se šlo organizovaně s ostatními hosty na pláž na západ slunce a beach volejbal. Nejlepší hostel na Tenerife.

Thank you Mag (Canada) to make me feel so welcome. You are doing AMAZING! Kat, you are doing great as well! It was not always easy to fit in with all cliques. The location is good, walking distance from supermarket, busstop, beaches… I had the private room & it was very quiet & good to sleep! The kitchen & bathroom could be a bit more clean. I loved the vibe of this hostel! The location is excellent, close to the beach and the bus stop. The two houses are beautiful: kitchens, living rooms, and gardens are spacious, the dorms are comfortable, and above all, the atmosphere in the hostel is exceptional. The swimming pools are a plus! I arrived on the day of the BBQ, which was also popular with locals, and I extended my stay for a few more days. Many thanks to all the fantastic staff, they are very friendly!

Hostel had all I wanted or needed but tbf it is pretty out of the way compared to others. For some reason the staff outnumber tenants by a lot but tbf that is cool. For what I wanted it was perfect. They do bike rental on site which is basically essential if you aren't gonna walk for like 30 mins to the beach etc. I did enjoy it but would say for the amount of staff there should be a proper social calendar of events each week even if it is mostly just Tenerife and party vibes lol

Loved my time here, volunteers were great (especially Jenny and Verena who were very social with all the guests and knew the best spots on the island)! Would love to come back some day

Nous devions passer seulement deux nuits avec un ami, nous sommes restés une semaine C’est pour vous dire ! L’hostel est super en tout points, des rencontres incroyables, une ambiance familiale rare, avec un accueil chaleureux. Je recommande fortement et j’ai hâte d’y retourner ! Muchas gracias la tortuga!!

Excellent hostel. The bed was very comfortable, the atmosphere was friendly and it was really nice that they offered me to eat the leftovers from the BBQ of the previous day for free! I can’t wait to be back!

l'ostello piu chill, friendly e sicuro in cui sia mai stata. Lo staff perfetto e anche a livello di pulizia niente fuori posto. Complimenti ai volontari che lavorano e ai proprietari per l'atmosfera di casa che si respira
