Town Yard Hostel

Excellent hostel. Well run and very clean. Breakfast at 9:00am was a chance to meet other travellers. I did a day trip to the national park, organised by the hostel owners, which was excellent.

Very friendly owners and my friend and I were alone in a 8 beds room so it was really relax. It is right beside a temple and 20 min walk from the main square

The hostel owners are very nice and speak good English. The tour is also highly recommended, it offers great value for money. I joined one of their trips that included Karakhorum and the Gobi Desert, and it was an unforgettable experience. The landscapes were incredible, and our guide was knowledgeable, funny, and made sure everyone had a good time the entire time. You get to see so much of Mongolia's beauty in just a few days, with good food, reliable transport, and well-organized stops.

A really nice place. The hosts are very friendly!

There was a bit of confusion when we arrived, which probably has to do with system. They were very accommodating and the showers were hot, with towels provided. They don’t have a credit card processor so they let us pay in our own currency since we were out of MNT.

Lost our laundry, pretty bad location.
