Mr Rot's Secret Stay

Excellent stay with the very welcoming Mr. Rot! He's a very helping person, ready to give you advises about local life and visits anytime you need. The Secret Tour was a particularly interesting experience, I'd recommend 100%!

I really enjoyed my stay at Mr.Rots Hostel. The rooms were clean and all the family was very nice and lovely. Mr. Rots Secret Tour is also an great experience to get the most out of your Da Lat Stay. Thanks for everything.

This stay deserves the 10 star rating it currently has. We were provided with Mr Rots WhatsApp from day 1 who was super accommodating and a friendly people person. We enjoyed everything about the stay and extended twice. It’s nicely tucked away whilst still being close to the high street. We would also highly recommend the secret tour. Whilst I’d like to give an insight, I think going in blind makes it all the more special. Wouldn’t hesitate to rebook! Thanks again to Mr Rot and family :) ...

Simple, clean Hotel, still central but quite, very friendly stuff who helps you with tours, renting motorcycles, and further more.

I wish i could have rated this place zero stars. We arrived at Mr Rots, walked in and the place was deserted. Lights off, trash everywhere. We shouted to see if anyone was there a no one replied. We had do find an emergency hotel near by. I reached out to Mr Rots but no one has replied and Hostel World haven’t helped either. We walked past Mr Rots the next day to see if anyone was there and the place was boarded up.

We found several of the things mentioned on the booking info to not be available: there was no breakfast, no help with arranging bus transportation and absolutely no sign of the secret tour despite asking about it. The staff don't speak much English but even with Google translate they seemed to have no clue what I meant by the secret tour. So much so that we were debating if we were even staying in the right place due to other reviews raving about the tour and it even being mentioned on here
