Chengdu Nova Youth hostel

This has to have been my favourite hostel so far. My Fiance and i have travelled from india through nepal and tibet and the Nova hostel is the froendliest of them all. Spent many nights playing uno over the language barrier and making plenty of friends. The staff have great recomendations of things to do and food to eat. Dont miss out on their basement Gym and Mahjong table. We learned to play Mahjong there it was great just chat to the staff and regulars and you cant go wrong.

The staff were great and available at late hours which is great if you have a late check in. The dorm rooms are very small, but great for the price. Top bunks are extremely squeaky, so avoid if possible. Great location, easy to get the bus. No western toilets for females, which is inconvenient but okay. Pretty sociable!

Did not like it a bit. Very cheap, though.

I spent good time there. Suggest to more people!
