Jungle Ippie Hostel

I stayed in the female dorm, which is located separately from mixed dorms. It was very nice, comes with a little kitchen as well as tv in the common area. Shared bathroom floor was wet all the time which was a bit unpleasant, so bring flip flops for bathroom trips :) the female dorm will either be social or not so much, depending on who you end up sharing it with.

My friend and I stayed for a few nights - we hung out at the bar the second night and the vibe was great. Staff is friendly and accommodating and the people this place attracts are kind and welcoming. Some of the rooms were fairly new as well which was a welcomed surprise from us!

Lovely staff and volunteers, the female dorm is great (very well furnished and quiet), although a little walk away from the main hostel. Social side is not huge but still easy to chat to people

I stayed in the newer building. It was nice and had free water, a kitchen and a nice living room area. I think I just stayed at the wrong time. It was very quit and boring all alone, but that is not something they can control. It is nice for what you get.

Sehr einfaches Hostel das Zimmer war soweit in Ordnung. Es war leider nur Richtung Bar ausgelegt und man konnte die halbe Nacht nicht schlafen, weil es so laut war. Die Mitarbeiter waren super nett und freundlich. Cool war auch, dass man Roller direkt vor Ort mieten kann. Recht teuer muss man aber sagen aber ansonsten alles gut

Stayed in the other building, was a beautiful ladys dorm & very close to everything about a 5min walk to all the local shops etc ladys dorm has its own shower in the room and then another shower in the common area, amenities were clean & amazing! Thank you sm guys, Tanah Rata defs is a special place in my travels

Je pense que c’est une des meilleures auberges, j’étais dans un dorm dans une sorte de petit appartement c’était très convivial. Le jeune homme à l’accueil a été super gentil, vous pouvez prendre des excursions via l’hostel c’est pas cher. Voici les recommandations que je ferai : faire le ménage chaque jour dans les chambres car les poubelles n’étaient pas changées, donner une serviette propre à nouveau chaque jour.

It was great for what we needed. Bathroom was clean and beds were alright. Bar was a bit dodge but it’s a backpackers so no one was shocked. Liked it overall

I had a really nice stay here. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and there was a social area by the reception where people played card games. The dorm buildings are located a few minutes’ walk from the reception. The rooms were nice and had good facilities. Nice kitchen and big livingroom with TV. The only downside is that it’s very humid, which leads to some mold. Otherwise, the hostel is relatively clean and has good amenities. No aircondition, but hairdryer available in doorm.

Such an amazing hostel. I stayed in the female dorm, it was so spacious and nice. The staff and owner were so genuine and nice, they all made me feel at home. The staff literally went above and beyond to help me out when I had issues. I honestly loved my stay here. Would highly recommend to solo travellers

The girls dorm is amazing and honestly the best hostel I’ve seen for this price range in the last 4 months. Staff are super welcoming and helpful- especially when I hurt myself.

I stayed in the 4 bedroom female dorm and it was really nice. it was located in a new complex that had all the facilities to cook and even a very comfortable sofa where you could chill and watch a little TV

Super friendly staff. The all Female block was clean and modern. Location is good for restaurants.

Couldn’t charge my phone at my bed and the female dorm is quite far. Property wasn’t very clean, you get a toilet paper roll but would rather just have toilet paper in the bathrooms

Strange property. Stayed here with a friend and for the same price he was in a crappy 8 bed dorm with no AC and I was in a flat in a completely different building. It’s such a strange layout that is not really explained prior to booking. The flat aspect of the hostel is lovely. It’s clean, it’s new. It’s just a shame they’re apart from each other and there’s only a female dorm in the new area.

I stayed in the 4 bed female dorm and it was amazing! Was suppose to stay for three and easily extended for another three. The lounge space has a table, full kitchenette, comfy couch and access to Disney+ & Netflix. It was so lovely to come back to after a day of hiking! The owner and staff are absolute gems and always willing to give a friendly hello or advice about where to hike, where to eat, and anything else. I felt so welcomed right away, I cannot recommend this hostel enough! 😊
