Clean rooms and bathrooms, comfortable beds, you have free soap and shampoo sometimes in case you don't bring. My only problem would be that some rooms are a little small, so it might not be suitable for everyone. Apart from that everything was bery nice.

Lovely design and very clean, but not much of a social atmosphere and the facilities are lacking (no kitchen, for example). Still a great spot given the lack of hostel options in Freiburg.

Very friendly staff (shout out to Maximillian for the great recommendations) , and one of the best facilities I have ever seen in a Hostel. Had a very comfortable stay at Das Viertel!

Fantastic hostel! It is a 10 out of 10 for every reason you can imagine, but something you cannot appreciate from the pictures is the atmosphere they created. A really well thought out place, with great attention to detail.

Grundsätzlich hat das Hostel eine gute Atmosphäre und es ist super gemütlich. Die Lage ist direkt in der Innenstadt und alle wichtigen Dinge sind zu Fuß zu erreichen. Allerdings sind die Zimmer für den Preis einfach sehr klein. Kaum Platz für Gepäck oder das mehrere Personen gleichzeitig im Zimmer stehen können. Es gibt auch nur ein Gemeinschaftsbad was einfach im Preis berücksichtigen werden sollte.

A nice hostel that was super clean and very comfortable. A few things made it a bit frustrating though. The dorm rooms are incredibly tight, and aren’t really rooms, but more like a closet. This meant it was pretty hot in the room at night. The bathrooms were great and clean but having the push button showers was a real let down especially considering the price of the hostel. I would absolutely stay again because of the location, but I don’t think the value for money is quite there.

Infrastructure - 10/10 cleanliness - 10/10 I wish they create a chain across Europe, it was one of my fav hostels to stay at. They could benefit from some community building exercises but since they only started this year, I believe that’s in the works. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Location is excellent as is cleanliness. However I was staying in a room with beds stacked three high. I was on the top bunk. No air circulation. Not sure how I’m supposed to bring some belongings that high up.

Das Hostel ist neu, sehr sauber und die Betten sind sehr bequem!

Alles hat super gepasst - die Lage, die Häuschen, das Dekor, die Stimmung, das Personal, alles! Ich will wieder kommen, und werde Das Viertel an allem, die ich kenne, empfehlen.

Super schön gestaltet. Im Nightliner ist schon sehr wenig Platz. Personal mega freundlich. Leider nicht sehr social als ich da war.

È meraviglioso tutto!! Ma manca la cucina ci sono solo un microonde e un bollitore, e, dati i costi considerevoli, potrebbe offrire questo servizio. Per il resto un soggiorno super, letti comodi, bagni incredibilmente puliti.

Das Hostel hat eine Atmosphäre in der man sich total wohlfühlt. Es ist sicher, sehr cool eingerichtet und hat genügend Sanitäranlagen. Es ist sehr zentral gelegen, vom Bahnhof muss man zwar ein Stück laufen, aber das ist wirklich nicht allzu weit. Gerne wieder :)
