Blue Almond Hostel

Hostel ok pour le prix. L’hôte est vraiment super gentil et donne de très bonnes recommandations. Cependant il fait trop chaud dans les chambres (privées), un ventilateur ne suffit pas. Et la propreté, et rénovation est à revoir niveau salle de bain.

Juan is the best host ever. He was really nice and helpful. The hostel is located at bit outside of town but still within walking distance of everything. The showers barely had any water pressure which was a bit of a shame. The kitchen is good and equipped with basically everything you need.

Loved this hostel so much! Juan is amazing and always happy to help with whatever you need. The dorm is basic but the atmosphere and how social the hostel is more than makes up for it. Would definitely recommend this hostel, it has such a nice atmosphere and you feel at home here

We absolutely loved our stay here. Juan is the best hostel owner, so accommodating to our last minute extensions! He gives such good recommendations. The hostel is in a great location, really good kitchen if you want to cook. 10/10, we loved our time here!! 🫶🫶🫶

It's a friendly hostel. Juan, the owner, is extremely welcoming and cares to make sure your stay in San Andres is delightful. The hostel is pretty basic, nothing fancy

Nice hostel, near the edge of the center, about a 10-15 minute walk along the malecon. Beds are comfy, cool water showers felt good in the island heat. I didn’t use the kitchen, but it appeared to be pretty well stocked. Good wifi connection. I had an enjoyable stay here.

Un petit hostel, parfait pour rencontrer des gens. Juan est vraiment super, aux petits soins pour nous donner tout les bons plans de l’île. Merci beaucoup !

I had an absolutely wonderful time at Blue Almond Hostel. It has been nothing less than the best hostel I have stayed in during my travels. If you’re looking for a hostel that is an antidote to the usual commercialised, vapid hostels, this is your place. Many thanks to Juan for his genuine warmth and hospitality. A special thanks to Camilo, Juan’s cousin, whose friendship was the highlight of my stay in this hostel and really made my experience. I couldn’t recommend Blue Almond more!

Juan ist ein sehr zuvorkommender und extrem hilfsbereiter Gastgeber. Immer ansprechbar und sehr gut vernetzt, sofern was benötigt wird, hat er immer einen Ansprechpartner und kann sehr schnell vermitteln. Die Unterkunft befindet sich nicht allzu weit Weg vom Hauptstrand und Downtown, ca. 15 Minuten Fußweg. Auch der Flughafen ist ungefähr 15 Minuten Fußweg entfernt.

I really loved staying in this hostel! It was low season, so I even got a whole room for myself, which was nice :) Juan was always there for me if I needed something and was very helpful! He even gave me a ride to the other side of the island :) There is no warm water in the shower, but trust me: You don’t need it! It’s so hot on the island, that you REALLY REALLY need a cold shower! Location is nice, there are grocery stores, etc. nearby. I definitely recommend!! Loved it there! :)

Juan y su esposa son muy amables, gentiles y cuidadosos. El hostel es muy seguro, en una parte bien ubicada cerca del centro, con buena energía y limpieza.

I loved staying here! The kitchen has everything you need and Juan is a super helpful host that knows everything you can do on the island. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a chill place to stay.
