Perfect location and extremely kind staff. Took care of us like family and our bags were secure at every moment when we were away. Backpackers from the USA and highly recommend AQP.
It was a nice location and the facilities were clean. However, we found that there was basically never anyone at reception. So when we had an early check out we just had to leave our key at the desk.
This hostel is great for travellers wanting a quieter stay. It is out from the city centre but it’s safe and there’s no issues walking into the city. The staff are really friendly and helpful. I think some small things to be aware of, the bathrooms were a bit problematic, the door didn’t shut in one, and the only shower we could get warm water from had to be accessed from outside. But overall this is a good hostel
Super nice Hostel! Really enjoyed the relaxed and cosy vibe, Free breakfast was really good and they offer alot of different tour. The staff is also super friendly and will always make sure to help you with anything you need, overall 100% recommend!
A very friendly and helpful staff.
Stayed a month in the hostel in private room traveling solo and working remote. Lis & Chio were amazing! The location 20min walk from the center, gives you the experience of local area (safe to walk in the day). You could see Misti at 6am from the rooftop. This is chill-vibes hostal, you can get comfortable familiar quickly in the area. If you enjoy salsa dancing, don't forget to mention to Chio, she will find you the best spots. Make yourself at home, as this is the hostal's vibe.
The hostel was a slight shock compared to the ratings seen on Hostelworld (9+). The showers and bathrooms were very dirty as were the rooms. Felt like you didn’t want to put stuff down because it was so dirty. The kitchen has a stove and a fridge but that’s about it. The staff weren’t amazing, we weren’t greeted welcomingly upon arrival, and when we went back to collect bags there was no one there. Wouldn’t recommend at all there’s so many nice hostels in Arequipa - go there instead!...
We had a great stay at AQP Hostel Company! Chio was very kind and helpful. She always replied very quickly. The hostel has a relaxt atmosphere and is great if you want to stay in a nice and calm neighborhood near the center
Highly recommend, I extended my stay. The owner and staff were very welcoming and helpful. Ambience is lovely and clean, with several outdoor resting areas. Located in a nice and quiet neighborhood, nearby is a very nice plaza and lots of authentic restaurants. Walking distance to the historic downtown it doesn’t feel far at all because the streets are always lively with people and restaurants , offering an opportunity to get a good sense of the culture, approximately 25 minutes walk

Un lugar muy tranquilo y acogedor, el personal de 10. Especial mención a Chio que es muy resolutiva y amable. Hemos estado muy agusto durante nuestra estacia. 100% recomendado.
Chio is a warmly welcoming host! You can feel how much love and effort she puts in this place. Great value for money, especially as the breakfast is included and you can use the kitchen. It‘s a 20 minutes walk from the centre in a quiet neighbourhood. Perfect, if you would like to escape the crowds. As a solo female traveler, I didn‘t feel 100% safe after sunset walking the streets here as there‘s really not much going on.
Ich habe mich wohlgefühlt, werde aber nicht wiederkommen. Es handelt sich um ein sehr kleines Hostel, ohne jegliche Aktivitätsangebote. Leider haben auch die Zimmer kein eigenes Bad und die Betten keine Vorhänge. Die Küche ist klein, doch nutzbar und die Lage ist super. Das Personal war ebenfalls freundlich und die Sanitäranlagen sauber. Das Frühstück war zwar inkludiert, jedoch spärlich. Ingesamt kein “typisches” Hostel zum Leute kennenlernen, sondern lediglich ein Platz zum Schlafe...
Absolutely amazing, heartwarming experience! Chio, the owner of the hostel, is such a beautiful soul. She helped us wherever she could and gave us many good recommendations. We immediately felt like home and extended our stay twice :-D it is a really comfortable and lovely hostel with a great view from the rooftop, clean and good kitchen, excellent breakfast and chill people.
Amazing hostel, very clean and the best common spaces I’ve seen in peru. Cozy beds, functionnal kitchen, warm showers and the owner is a sweet angel. The ambiance is peaceful and comfortable. The roof terrace is an amazing spot for sunsets and view of the mountains. The walk to the center is pretty and not long at all. Bonus: the breakfast with fresh daily bread, egg and banana is very nutritious. Also, there is an area with a big tv with netflix and a very cozy couch! Just like home.
A really nice hostel in a cool part of town. All of the staff are nice and help with anything you need, would definitely stay here again!
A charming little hostel! Staff are super friendly and the amenities are great, it's also fantastic value for money but the only slight downside is it's location which is slightly further outside of town
I stayed here with my friend and we absolutely loved this place, is a nice neighborhood to walk around and the staff is absolutely lovely, Chia we loved uuu!! The only thing to keep in mind is that is a 25 min walk to the city center, but most tours would pick u up from the nearest plaza.
Die Unterkunft hat alles was man braucht, Aufenthaltsraum, Küche und eine schöne Dachterrasse. Das Personal, insbesondere Chio ist super freundlich und gibt einem Tipps für Tagesaktivitäten. Wir haben eine 2 Tages Tour in den Colca-Canyon über das Hostel gebucht die wirklich super war, kann man nur Weiterempfehlen.
