Really lovely hostel, the owners are super friendly and helpful, they offer loads of tours including the Kuang si waterfall tour at low prices. Breakfast was good I would stay with them again :)
I really enjoyed my stay here. Few things first, there is only one toilet / shower between 12 people but it was actually okay whilst I was there. This isn’t the cleanest hostel and it’s a little bit of a walk from the centre of the city. But for £3 a night with breakfast included, you can’t beat the value. The beds were comfy. Joseph at the front desk and all the staff are amazing and super helpful! There’s a nice decking at the back overlooking the Mekong tribituiary. I’d 100% recomm...
It was an okay hostel but I’m glad i only stayed one night… breakfast was nicei didn’t speak to a single person while i was there, my room was full but i didn’t see any people around… also the rooms are extremely crowded, i got top bunk and i didn’t have anywhere to put my backpack because the floor was already full, and the bed was super unstable so i kept waking up anytime someone moved. It’s an okay value for the price but if you plan on staying more than one night maybe find so...
central location, there is a pool table but there is not much social vibe within the hostel. there is a nice terasse at the back with some tables. there is only bathroom for 12 people so might cause some inconvenience. the staff is very friendly and helpful
only 1 bathroom for 2 dorm rooms so it was always busy, the room was dark and lacked ventilation so smelt and it is over a dodgy bridge outside of town. however, the staff are great and the views from the deck are nice if you are in a couple woth a private room it would probably be a nice place to stay but dont recommend for solo travellers
Pas de casiers, rien qui se barre, chambre propre mais salle de bain dégoûtante, personnel serviable et navette pour train et aéroport disponible
I had a great stay here at Meet Sunset hostel. The team were so welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. It was out of the main part of the city, but that was its charm… it really felt as if I was in Laos. A lovely walk across the rickety old bike bridge was amazing…
Great, quiet hostel not too far from the main town. Rooms were clean and bed was comfy. Staff were extremely helpful with anything we needed. Very chilled hostel
Great staffs, Karen and Joseph do everything they can to help you with your everyday struggles and enquiries. Please do take a moment to talk to them as you’ll get to know them better. They made sure you feel welcomed as a family member.
Stayed here for two nights and it was lovely. Had a private room that was very clean, smelt lovely and the bed was very comfy. The view from this property was lovely looking out at the Mekong River. The staff were all very welcoming and so helpful, we booked a few things through them and everything was great. The staff couldn’t do enough for you and were always chatty which was so lovely, a great stay here, would definitely recommend.
I loved this place so much! I was quite tired when I arrived, and Joseph and his wife immediately made me feel welcome and warm. My room was great, with a lovely view and everything I needed. I met some cool people here too, and got good help in the reception. They were the sweetest couple I've met in Laos, and helped me with my requests and questions, and I felt like they truly cared for me, and wanted me to have the best time in Luang Prabang, which I did thanks to them! 10/10 would go again!
Joseph was a huge help the entire length of my stay, made it easy to find everything in the city. Helped with rentals, laundry, and train tickets. Accoms were nice, stayed in a private as i needed a break from the mad monkey life. Great value for the money. Very friendly, family vibe at reception. 10/10 no problems
