DIC Hostel

Great hostel and big breakfast with some variety! I was there with my friend and we shared a room. Not a party/social hostel but perfect for us.

beds were comfy enough, rooms are clean, bathtooms were spacious and sufficient amount, clean enough, kitchens were severly lacking in both eqipment and hygine, great privacy, very helpfull staff, bad laundry service , breakfast had enough variety, no atmosphere/can't meet anyone , location is not the best, but it's close enough to the centre

The hostel was more of a walk than advertised from the city centre and it was hard to find as its address listed is to the campus area not the building itself. Once inside staff were polite but cold. There was no social element to the hostel; it clearly catered more for a family vibe than what I was looking for. The rooms were okay but the kitchens and bathrooms (particularly) were dirty. There was black mould in the shower. The free breakfast was nice. A solid, redeeming feature.

Tolle Unterkunft für 3 bis 4 Tage. Ähnelt sehr einer Jugendherberge.

This is mainly student accommodation but it’s so vast they have rooms spare. During term time they don’t offer breakfast which is a shame (I see others who can in July/aug got a brekkie). Slightly tricky to find first time but you get the hang of it. Friendly staff and clean. If you’re looking for a highly sociable hostel then this isn’t it although there’s plenty going on in town

Ce logement a certains avantages: il n’est pas loin du centre ni de la gare routière, il offre un solide petit-déjeuner, et les chambres sont spacieuses. Si je devais néanmoins donner quelques défauts, outrés l’esthétique du bâtiment, (dont on se fiche en voyage), la critique porterait sur la cuisine très sous équipée. Mais je suis content d’y avoir été, les hébergments étant de plus en plus cher en Slovénie!

The staff was kind and friendly and helped me with my request to stay. Common areas were clean. The only problem was with some guests who throw the doors, but that is something that is not the staff's responsibility. It is about respect and education from the guest to the rest. This hostel was a lifesaver, and I RECOMMENDED IT I WILL COME BACK TO STAY AGAIN Thanks for having and I hope to return again. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

It's a school converted to a hostel during summer.

I feel as if somehow they scammed the rating system. I payed for a single room, and due to the rating I thought I would get my money's worth. You get a room with 3 beds in it. The building is like an abandoned school building. During the night it looks like a perfect scene to set up some zombie apocalypse movie. They do have breakfast, which was quite chill to be honest. They also had free parking. But that was the only thing good about this hostel.

i loved it, its like an abandoned school during a zombie apocalypse, we had our own floor basically and every floor has an amazing kitchen, the place is HUGE

unfortunately my room was covered in insects, the bed itself was clean and comfortable but the room was dirty, a fair trek from the centre, breakfast meh.

Good convenient location, clean rooms. Was a bit isolated - a good hostel for introverts. Walking distance to centre. Staff always available at the front desk which is nice.

Not a place to socialise. The location is wrong and it is hard to find due to the zero signs. They carry out maintenance during summer as it's a student accommodation in term time. There were workmen outside our door using power tools just after 8am, I politely asked the receptionist if we could move rooms. She was rude and patronising, saying '8am isn't that early, they are allowed to work from 6am'. She refused to move our room. After a late flight the night before, all I wanted was some sleep

Great Hostel, we had no problems at all. Big plus was the free breakfast.

Formule sympathique un peu éloigné du centre mais calme et agréable. Petit déjeuner correct, varié et quantitatif. Je le conseillerai sans souci.

The reception is so non-professional and weird and took everything personally when you said something. They laughed when I gave them my swedish passport. The first room was not clean with hair on sheets and dead bug on the bed. I got another room. Both shower and toilet seats were dirty. The reception said that it wasn't their responsibility and that I had to "understand" that it was low cost hostel. No room service for private rooms. People were slapping doors all night and made noise.

Nice Hostel, with everything you need for a interrail. Bed, breakfast and cool advices for Ljubljana!!!
