This is genuinely the most petrifying place I've ever booked. The initial wave of cigarettes and weed just set the tone that this was sole Homeless shelter rather than a hostel. Kitchen functions alright and there's plenty of seating areas, but it's like the aftermath of a frat party . My room was dark and dingey , with no AC . Brutal to sleep in. Aucune sécurité, tous les occupants de la maison connaissaient le code de notre chambre, donc des allées et venues en permanence, le frigo était plein et les étagères également mais d'affaires à des personnes extérieures à la chambre. La personne pour le check-in est dans un autre pays, obliger d’avoir le facebook de la personne pour renter. 1er impression de l’exterieur ont dirait un squate et 2eme impression de l’interieur ont dirait aussi un squate, conclusion hostel completement eteint. Jvais pas en rejouter parce qu’il y a long à dire.

Good place if you like to socialise. There’s a big common area and a yard so you can really meet some people. The location is good, close to lots of bars and restaurants and about 15-20 minutes to the main station. There’s no AC but the fan in the room was usually enough.

Nothing special, but it's alright.

That was the worst hostel I’ve stayed in. The manager is unbelievable unfriendly and unprofessional. I felt so unsafe, it’s super loud until midnight or sometimes 2am in the morning. She doesn’t help you at all and doesn’t care about it. If you have a problem it’s on you. That never happened to me before and I was happy to leave after two nights. Don’t stay there, there is no chance of communication because everything happens online. Only the people kind of saved it for me.

My stay at this hostel was very disappointing. The place was extremely dirty, with poor hygiene in both the rooms and common areas. It also felt unsafe — the doors and lockers didn’t seem secure, and I never felt comfortable leaving my belongings there. I have taken photos that clearly show the condition of the hostel, and I will be sharing them with the booking platform. I would not recommend this place to anyone until serious improvements are made.

Wouldn’t go back. Filthy bathroom facilities which clearly hasn’t been cleaned for a long time. Kitchen left a mess consistently by other users. No staff onsite throughout our stay to maintain the hostel. It is managed online by a ‘manager’ and some hostel users seem to have jobs on maintaining the building. WiFi down for the duration of our stay. It took 2 weeks for it to be fixed.

This was one of the worst Hostels I ever stayed in. There is no Staff, people sleep there for free and clean the hostel. Roxanne who manages online bookinga sits the Philippines and chills. Everything is dirty and old. there is no AC and yoh pay 300$ a week for that whole. The wifi wasnt working for my whole stay. When the microwave broke it took to owner 2 weeks to get a new one. Do youself a favor and dont go there. If you complain in the groupchat they just kick you out. Terrible Place!!!!!!!

I have rated this so poorly because of the lack of cleanliness in this property. We arrived to find our room in an unacceptable manner, it clearly had not been cleaned, there was sand all over the floor, rubbish under the beds, a dirty towel under a mattress, pillows completely yellow and smelly. The bedding provided also had a foul smell. We had to book another place to stay the night after because I woke up itching all over from sleeping in that bedding. The staff were rude and unhelpful also.

Had a great stay at myOZexp Palmerston Lodge! The atmosphere was friendly and relaxed, the location was super convenient, and the staff were always helpful. Perfect place for meeting new people and exploring Perth!

Great all around experience. Nice clean toilets and showers. great living area. also very social and chill. Prívate fridge per room. the location its quite. the staff it’s friendly and keep everything clean. The only thing I think could be improved is the beds, which are quite soft. New mattresses for the beds wouldn’t be a bad idea.

Great spot in the city—clean hostel with a friendly, social atmosphere. Easy check-in & got everything you need, met people who have been here for months at this hostel. Close to trains and buses, easy to meet people, ideal for solo travelers. Budget friendly!
