My Friend Hostel

Love the spot … could use a little more utilities for the kitchen and could be a little cleaner but overall I loved my stay as I extended for an extra 5 days . The owner is really chill and the workers are really friendly and nice!! It has an amazing terrasse, close to the beach, stores and restaurants! The town is really small and walkable. You can easily cross path with the same people everyday :)

Inroom WC sink was not funcional. I asked for help, they never responded

The staff here are so nice, Randy is an absolute legend and gave me lots of tips and advice staying in the area! Surf lesson was great! The kitchen downstairs does awesome food! Although I was the only guess checked in at my time of stay and traveling solo I still had a great time!

Best hostel I've found in huanchaco. rooms are super big and cozy, included breakfast is incredible and the restaurants downstairs is great if you need something quick. You can talk with Randy to set up some surf lessons for quite cheap. highly recommend!

Nice Hostel with very friendly staff, especially the host. He gave me a lot of traveling and surfing advice. It’s right above a restaurant and the included breakfast is very good!

Great! chilled atmosphere in the hostel and nice owner. I arrived early in the morning and left late the next night and were allowed to stay in the room the whole time. Surfing lessons were fun! And the breakfast is great.

My stay at My Friend Hostel was really good! I only planned on staying for 2 nights, but kept on extending to an overall 5 nights. Comfy beds, clean amenities, nice areas to chill out, great location and great food in the restaurant (breakfast also included, one of the bestincluded breakfasts in a hostel in South America so far). But what stood out especially was the extremely kind and helpful staff. Randal and Carlos and the rest of the team were all super fun to hang out with! Defo recommend!

(+) short distance from the beach, nice host, surf lesson was fun! Good breakfast. Overall good enough for a few nights staying. (-) female room was too hot, only a small loud fan after requesting, overall needs maintenance looks rather shabby and some of the beds are super uncomfortable. few common areas, little atmosphere.

nice hostel with friendly stuff and chill atmosphere. the doorms are not special but definitely great for the price. it's very clean and the food in the restaurant below is superb.

Hola hola! somos 2 viajeras españolas que estuvimos en agosto 2023 en my friend hostel, la estancia fue de lo más recomendable. Ramdi y su equipo (anita, Kevin, renato) nos trataron como una más. El ambiente es alegre, super friendly y nos enseñaron a hacer surf!!! De verdad este alojamiento es casa hogar y sin duda un gran acierto en nuestro viaje. No dudéis en pasaros por aquí. Un beso a ramdi y a su equipo

We loved our stay at My Friend hostel. The owners/staff are very nice and helpful, and even keep our room untill we could go to the nightbus, free of charge! The surfing lessons were enjoyable. Thanks for the hospitality!
