Great hostel if you just want a place to sleep. Don’t expect vibes or activities : there is not really a place to hang out inside. Most of the people in the kitchen/commun rooms were there to work remotly. The average age is older (30+). The rooms are quite small but very clean. It is located at a ten minutes walk from the center, but walking felt safe as there is always people on the streets. Nice quiet hostel outside of the city center. Besides my room smelling a bit bad my first day, I have no issues with the hostel. Overall would recommend for those looking for something other than a party hostel

Buen hostel. Camas cómodas con buena seguridad. Las camas tienen un tomacorrriente al lado y dentro de todo cierta privacidad. Estás a 15 minutos caminando de cualquier punto de interés. Muy poco ambiente, la zona común está buena pero falta un poco de onda con actividades y eso para integrar. La cocina solo tiene dos hornallas, lo que me parece poco

Great and very chill hostel with very friendly and helpful staff. Everything was very clean, and though I only stayed for one night, it was a great place to stay while in Málaga

Me encantó todo, es un hostel nuevo, limpio, con espacios para comer y estar. La amabilidad de las recepcionistas un 10, Paz me recomendó muchos lugares. Me ofrecieron una habitación superior y hasta incluso pude entrar antes de hora, muy amables la verdad. En la salida te cobran por dejar las maletas en unos lockers. Everything was really nice. Location was close to centrum. Staff was really nice. Clean and quiet hostel. There is fridge, stove and microwave in kitchen. And also room where you can work.

The Funker Hostel is one of the best city hostels I’ve stayed in and is an excellent place to stay in Malaga. In summary: it is new, modern, very clean, comfortable, well equipped with all the good facilities that travellers could want, peaceful, and has very helpful staff. Amazing place lovely staff and colourful so gives a nice vibe to it

This was my first time staying in a dormitory in a hostal. The overall experience was easy and comfortable. I would certainly do it again. The staff were friendly and helpful at all times. The location was a little out of the way. The accommodation was clean and the bed comfortable.

Nice hotel, good location, close to everything, safety, clean! Alejandro and Paz are so helpful and lovely staf, the tiny guy is grumpy and in bad mood, he doesn't knock the door before come inside the room, could be better if courtines were longer for more privacy. I really recommend this hotel.

Great hostel located in the heart of Malaga - only a quick walk or taxi ride from the underground. Kept super clean and with great kitchen facilities you're more than welcome to cook with. My only improvement would to have a small curtain at the bottom of the bed for complete privacy when you need it - if not only to leave your items charging in your bunk without fear of them being easily taken by other guests (which did not happen, but can in other places I've stayed). The rooms are cozy with comfortable beds and lockers, and the common areas are perfect for relaxing and meeting other travelers. The atmosphere is social but still calm, so you can rest well at night. The location is excellent, close to public transport, attractions, restaurants, and nightlife.

I wonder why this hostel doesn’t get many comments, but it’s really good, clean and nice, new decorations and comfortable bed. Would definitely choose the hostel next time I went to Malaga
