Hostel Izvor

The hostel is located away from the city and serves as a support for drivers resting on the road, as well as being a camping park. The structure is simple; it's a family-run property, but with kind and friendly people. The owner, Nikola, is kind and friendly. Although the access is somewhat remote, it was a different and interesting experience.

Very nice hostel. Perfect for arriving and starting a Trip.

We had a very comfortable stay at Hostel Izvor! We chose this hostel due to its location right next to the Smokovac climbing area - it’s a super quick walk to the crag. There’s also access to a beautiful swimming area in the nearby river. The room was clean and comfortable and had AC. The only downside is there’s no kitchen for guests to use and not a lot of food options nearby, but there is a restaurant in the hotel for breakfast and dinner. The staff was kind and helpful!

Good enough, for the low price, it's great. And the staff I met at night were kind peoplem. Although we got lucky, since there was no-one else in the room, I feel if they would be full, there would be no privacy at all.

Good cost/benefit, very nice staff, but it's really far away from the city center. There's a nice beach close by.

Staff was friendly, but bed so uncomfortable, the springs were poking me all night. Also no air conditioning and only cold water. Showers have no doors/locks, but there were barely any people besides me so I felt alright with that. Could be cleaner.

The place is great for the price. The best part is the river you can swim and jump off cliffs right by it. However, the location is 1.5hr walk from the city, and it’s very dangerous at night to walk because there are no sidewalks and the buses only take you part of the way. But the hostel itself is good. It’s old, and don’t have high expectations, but great price, and good aircon.

Me and my friend stayed here for one night and couldn’t recommend the hotel more. Everyone who works there was so accommodating especially the boss/ el patron / Chief Bobby (as we came to know). The location is beautiful with views of the mountains and the river is perfect for swimming- recommended to us by the receptionist and she told us where we could go to swim. The bar is open late operated by Bobby, serving Montenegrin beers at a great price. Many thanks- Olivia and Celeste :)

Incredible value for money if you use the busses to get into the city - bus stop outside the petrol station going into the city generally coming hourly (90c ticket). To get back to the hostel, we just asked the bus driver if they would go to the petrol station stop and they dropped us there. Owners were very willing to help and were very friendly! No kitchen but there is a restaurant and lots of fruit trees around the hostel! The river by the hostel is a beautiful, untouched spot of nature

Good value but quite far out and felt a bit sketchy - lovely staff though

The hostels photos don't show the actual property condition. We left straight after the check in. Open wires above showers, nests of bugs. Property located 12 km from city
