Surfside El Tunco

This was a decent hostel. Beds were comfy, the showers and toilets were really nice, and it had a really nice and cold water fountain. However, the rooms were very small for 8 people and it’s quite noisy

El hostal esta bien ubicado, esta a menos de 3 minutos caminando de la propia pieda El Tunco en la playa, hay muchos comercios en los alrededores, como restaurantes, café, bares, clubs, parqueos, tienda de conveniencia, etc. El WiFi debo darle un 7/10 ya que era muy inestable, pero en tema de seguridad, locación, cosas que hacer le doy un 10/10 y si me quedaria de nuevo ya que frecuentemente visito El Tunco y busco lugares nuevos donde hospedarme.

Tiny hostel but great location

El hostal está muy bien ubicado, con variedad de tiendas, restaurantes, cafeterías y bares cerca. Todo está bien indicado, ordenado y limpio, las camas están bien distribuidas, aunque para personas altas, es un poco difícil sentarse si te han asignado la cama de abajo, porque no hay tanto espacio entre la cama de arriba y la de abajo, los colchones son cómodos y la estructura de la litera es estable. Hay lockers dentro y fuera de los cuartos. El único problema fue que el WiFi no era estab...

Its for sleeping... But even that. The beds are comfy and the kitchen has a lot of stuff. the rooms are very small and stuffed with people. There is no atmosphere at all. The receptionist wasnt the most helpful. But it has a nice location

1. practically no common areas 2. lack of security everybofy entered and came to the area were the rooms are 3. the rooms are so freaking cool 4. there is no staff around 5. the reception is in a market 6. I was given a blanket and I was told to provide 5$ as a deposit, and they only give me back 3$, even if I was not told about the 2$ usage fee, otherwise I would have kept on with my heavy jackets

Good location if u want to stay near the El Tunco beach. Bad place if u have a car, no place to park unless u pay in private parking lots. Idk in general, but in my case, the mattress was really uncomfortable.

La habitaciones muy buenas, los baños y la cocina muy limpios. El personal a veces no era tan simpático pero nada importante.

Şuana kadar kaldigim hosteller icindeki en kötü deneyimdi.Oda cok küçük ve havasizdi,kalan genc arkadaslarda eşyalarini orta yere sactiklari icin adim atmada zorlandim.Hostel icinde bir gorevli olmamasi bir dezavantaj.Konaklayan gencler sabaha kadar müziği sos ses acarak uyumaya calisan bizlere hic saygi gostermediler.Bu durum ile ilgili iletisim kurabilecegimiz kimse de yoktu maalesef.Genc ve partilemek istiyorsaniz burasi uygun bir hostel

Klein, gezellig hostel waar je snel aan de praat geraakt met andere reizigers. Echter waren de kamers hierdoor best oncomfortabel omdat er geen ruimte was om je eigen spullen te leggen. Ook de gemeenschappelijke ruimte waar de keuken was is klein waardoor het soms moeilijk manoevreren was. Anderzijds zorgde dit voor leuke gesprekken op het aanrecht :)

Great location, good kitchen facilities, comfy beds. Only cons are the dorms are very small there’s not much space to leave your bags as the lockers are small. Staff weren’t very helpful.

I stayed at Surfside for a week while in El Tunco! The location is great and although it’s small it is the cheapest in the area. The kitchen is well equipped and they have filtered water. I loved sitting on the balcony but that is the only communal area. Only 2 toilets, 2 showers, and 1 sink in the bathroom area but surprisingly this was never an issue. Everything was cleaned daily. It’s a good place to stay on a budget!

Stayed here for the price and location. Beds were pretty comfy and rooms and bathrooms were clean. It’s pretty small. Just a few dorms and a kitchen/balcony area to sit in. The front door to the hostel is just open all the time so anyone can come in but tbh the area is pretty safe and I didn’t have any problems while staying here. I’d recommend for the price and location if you are ok with basic amenities.

Not more than dorms, showers, toilets and a very small kitchen. Luckily there were nice people, making it way more social than it should be. Not much facilities, but the location is great!

Amazing location literally 2 min down from the beach, and close to all the bars and convenience store just downstairs. Super cute hostel with great facilities, common area is a bit small but it’s perfect for meeting other people as it kinda forces you to speak. One of the best hostels I’ve stayed at - met awesome people! Want to go back already

super auberge toute récente. Les équipements sont bien et la petite cuisine est pratique (sel, poivre et huile à disposition). Les ustensiles sont neufs, tout comme le reste du logement, ce qui est appréciable à deux pas de la plage. Des activités et des sorties communes sont proposées!
