Good hostel with kind staff. There’s a nice bar next to it. A 15min walk from the city center.
The staff were friendly, but the soundproofing was completely inadequate—we could hear everything from the conversations in the next room and the noise of the hair dryer.
Good hostel, super clean, quiet, yet social. The dorm is comfortable and it’s nice to have a full working kitchen but also a restaurant (if a bit pricy). Their cultural show on Sundays was charming! The owner seemed a bit annoyed with any travel questions you had, but still was helpful at planning. Good place to meet people, a lot of folks use this hostel as their jumping point for Ala Kul.
Really good hostel to do the hike from. Staff speaks English. Lots of helpful information. Cafe is nice area to hang out. No real complaints. Would highly recommend to for social setting. Staff very very helpful towards answering questions.
Small cozy hostel. It has kitchen facilities, so it’s a good option for backpackers who prefer to cook their own meals. They also have their own restaurant beside the hostel which serves good food. Each dorm bed has its own power sockets and curtains for privacy. It’s not centrally located, but attractions in Karakol are still within walking distance. It’s a small town anyway. The staff were really helpful. I wish usable lockers were provided though for security.
Very old and broken bed. Pillow Smell so bad. No hair dryer. No shower gel and shampoo. Don't care guests! Security is very terrible!!! Very old facility!
It was recommended to me by a taxi driver, so I expected nothing. But it was awesome. With a nice kitchen, nice bar, nice garden and very nice staff that was so helpful. Also, they offer a little self-made booklet, that explains what and how to do in Karakol, including the hikes.
Good clean hostel with friendly staff who help all your needs
