Hostel Dalmatia

I had a great time here!! The only downside is that if the weather isn’t good for the beach or a hike there isn’t much to do outside the hostel. They offer family style meals, and you can cook for everyone one night and eat other meals for free! The owners are lovely and they made me feel so welcome!

We had a great stay here and wished we could have stayed longer.

Definitely for a certain kind of person. There’s a system in place where one guest cooks for the entire hostel every night and everyone else donates. If this information had been communicated before my arrival I probably would have had second thoughts. And, because I was unaware of this system, before I got to the hostel I had already purchased all my food and so it felt a bit isolating being the only one cooking for myself and eating separately.
