M Pods Malaga

Bastante bien, aunque mucho más privado que un hostal normal, no me agradaba que no se pudiese meter en una taquilla tus pertenencias ya que el Pod era fácil de abrir desde fuera. A parte de eso todo genial, perdí unos pendientes y la limpiadora los buscó hasta encontrarlos, y la recepción también muy simpática. El servicio muy bien. unica pega la seguridad de las pertenencias y que la puerta estaba abierta todo el día.

It wasn't easy to climb up, and the shutters made too much noise. Very friendly and clean, though!

This was absolutely perfect for what i needed. Late flight into Málaga, 24-hour reception meant that I could still check in. Staff were super, both at the front desk and communicating via Whatsapp. The pods themselves are fairly basic, but nice and clean and plenty of privacy. Overall very satisfied with my stay here. I had a good stay at the M Pods Hostel. The staff was super friendly and helpful & everything was clean. Due to one sleeping in its own little cabins the atmosphere is not as social as in other hostels. However I enjoyed my night here and recommend this hostel!

The idea with the pods is nice but in my case the bed and the whole cabin was a bit small. But I‘m quite a tall person also. Not really a hostel community vibe, the community area is pretty basic. Staff was super friendly, all in all a good place if you‘re just looking for a place to stay one or two nights

perfect first hostel. very quiet and secure. we loved the privacy that the pods offered! if you are looking for a very social party hostel, this is not the one. it is a place to rest and recharge, and a damn good one! guests were friendly and staff was very helpful. front desk staff spoke many languages! the hostel is about a 30 minute walk from everything near the industrial part of the city, but this did keep it very quiet for good rest. thank you Mpods!

I liked the concept, the security, the location, I just found the very soft mattress difficult to cope with. Maybe my age....

Friendly staff and in an easily accessible location for the train station (and not too far from the centre). Smells a little weird, but there are lots of air fresheners about to try to deal with it.

Ants, noise, claustrophobic pods

Nice to have some privacy. Only bad part was there was ants in the pod.

You have to pay a fee to leave your luggage prior to check in, the room smelt like sewage, and there was never any soap to wash your hands in the washrooms. The pods on the top were quite difficult to maneuver in and quite awkward to access the under the bed storage which is only accessible with your blind up. However, the staff was very pleasant! I wouldn't stay here again considering the steep price for what you get.

Si vous restez plus d’une nuit et que vous vous levez plus tard que 9h je ne conseille pas, très bruyant et il laissait la porte de notre chambre ouverte on entendait tout le monde parler dans les couloirs. Il fermait l’air climatisé tôt le matin, donc on mourrait de chaud en se reveillant. Il y a des toiles qu’on peut fermer, mais il fait tellement chaud lorsqu’on les ferme…

It's quite claustrophobic to be honest. Extremely impractical. It's like a warehouse except you have little to no air inside the pod, and the curtains make quite a lot of noise when opening which is unfortunate for everyone. Also there is almost no contact with the other guests or at least there's not really an environment for meeting others. If you like privacy then for sure this is for you, I will however say it's seriously risky if you have an upper bed. Did not enjoy. Staff was friendly.

Good hostel for 1 or 2 nights, beds are small but comfortable and clean. Electric curtain in bed is really loud at night, and not a lot of sound insulation.In good location to Maria Zambrano Train Station, friendly staff.

Overall a nice place to stay, right in the center of Málaga. Pods can be closed to ensure privacy, and your luggage can fit, though taking one of the upper pods can make hoisting it up a chore. But the mechanism to open and shut the pods is quite noisy, so if you or anyone in the dorm has to get up in the middle of the night, the noise may be heard. A dorm is a dorm even with pods. The room itself wasn't very bright or pretty. The bathroom was very clean. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Beware solo travellers, they allow thieves to take people’s property!. I had my clothes stolen by another resident that checked out after. They had to get footage from the manager so clearly no one was watching the cameras like in other bigger hostels. Camera coverage was poor so security is poor. Manager didn’t even apologise and said that he couldn’t do anything. Go to a better secured and better established hostel!

It is a very nice, trendy and innovative place. I love the fact that you can close the Pod and you have your privacy. The Pod was very big. I had plenty of space for my luggage. The Pod is like a little private room with a big TV that connects to Netflix etc... . There is also a small desk and stool inside where you can work.
