Youth Hostel Echternach

Very nice hostel, with nice staff, but it is somewhat difficult to get to, is a good walk from nearest bus stop.

I definitely will recommend this location the trekking trails are the best

Super leuk hostel! De kamers zijn in orde. Voldoende ruimte om ergens rustig te gaan zitten. Het ontbijt is lekker! Veel fruit en plantaardige melk, lekker :p Het restaurant van het Hostel is ook goed! Prijs-kwaliteit zeker de moeite :) De klimmuur is ook een leuk extraatje. Weet wel dat de klimmuur enkel open is op zondag. Zeker een aanrader! Wij hebben genoten van ons verblijf

Prima nacht in Youth Hostel Echternach. Let op: je kan tot 22:00 inchecken en écht niet later. Schone kamers, beddengoed inbegrepen. Verwarming stond wel de hele avond aan en konden we niet zelf uitdraaien, dus als je in een frisse/koele kamer wil slapen met bijv het raam open, dan staat de verwarming eronder te loeien... Ontbijt was simpel, maar voedzaam: kwark met toevoegingen, thee/koffie en sap, harde broodjes met kaas, ham of salami en vers fruit.

Een prima hostel als je een hike wilt doen of een enkele overnachting. Het is me nog steeds niet duidelijk of de klimmuur nou ook beschikbaar was.

Eine moderne Herberge, und damit etwas anonym. Aber es ist ja auch immer Zufall, mit wem man so das Zimmer teilt. Die Leiter für die Stockbetten hat offensichtlich jemand entworfen, der noch nie barfuß hochsteigen mußte :-D

Es war zentral, Mitte eines Parks. Vom Bushaltestelle ca. 10 min zu fuss. Es ist gross und mit viele Aktivitäten für Kinder/Familien. Ich war mit einem Freund da und es hat alles gut geklappt. Zimmer war gross, Bett klein aber bequem. Man konnte von da aus bis zum Dorf/kleine Stadt laufen und von da die verschiedene Wanderungen machen. Es ist ein Supermarkt in der Nähe.

Great hostel. Not exactly a “youth” hostel ahahah. Average age is about 65 from what I can tell. Nice and next to the pond. Perfect for hiking Mullerthal or just chilling out

Le rapport qualité prix du lunch à emporter pourrait être amélioré et varier les garnitures des sandwichs et éventuellement proposer des produits locaux. Si pas de changement, réduire le prix.

Nice location close to the main bus station. Excellent facilities, with shelves and chargers next to the beds. Staff very friendly and helpful. More useful as a base for hiking rather than a social atmosphere but a very good hostel and would stay again.

I liked everything except the location and that there was no common kitchen which we could use.

fantastic stay - the beds were really comfy, rooms were quiet, we were really lucky to have the room to ourselves. shower good, with hot water. Good sized lockers. Perfect location - so much to do. The restaurant that is attached to the hostel does breakfast included (bread rolls, bread, cheese, ham, fruit, yoghurt, jams, tea/coffee) - the breakfast was fantastic. Dinner was 13 euros and the food was brilliant and fresh, this included main course, salad and pudding. Perfect stay! 10/10

Very friendly, slightly overworked staff. Really helpful with answering my questions and getting me sorted with anything. The hostel itself is okay. It's a hostel, it's pretty basic. The thing they really can and should improve on is the coffee in the morning. It tastes pretty watery. Breakfast is very simple. The only way to get some protein is to eat the very salty ham that is availabe. Portions for dinner are small. For the chili they doled out one ladle full of sauce, that was all.

My room flooded which left all our belongings soaking wet. The staff did help to clean everything and were very helpful, although a slight inconvenience.

Everything PERFECT! It will surprise you. It was such a good hostel. It's in a park and the hostel participate so much in the comunity so they have a lot of infrastructure. Very very good, I loved it
