Babou Maramures

This hostel is a great place that feels like home! The house and the garden are beautiful and cozy. Bram and Ema give great advice and are very welcoming, baking bread every morning and you can even drink self brewed beer!

I would guess that I have stayed in nearly 100 hostels over the years... and to my recollection... this is the first time I have decided to leave a review... as Babou absolutely deserves it. It ticks every single box a traveller needs. Clean facilities, comfortable beds. feelina secure (both yourself and your belongings)... but most of all the hospitality showed by Bram and his family. The perfect stay! Thanks

The most peaceful, beautiful hostel I've ever stayed at. Fantastic hosts who helped us with car troubles. Big clean showers too with hot water. A small shop nearby with all the basics, and a few restaurants in the village too. I would definitely go back!

Incredible, really had a feeling of deep country Romania. The place was very beautiful and well kept and the owners were great in every way.
