bnb+ Yokohama Motomachi

I really enjoyed my stay in Motomachi. The Hostel is very calm. Not social though. Nice shops and cafes around. Great food options in the nearby Chinatown. Nice parks on the nearby hill. Clean Hostel. The mattress is really thin, which is fine for me, but definitely not suitable for everyone. The blanket is too thick/warm in the summer, for my preference. All in all: ideal Hostel for a relaxing stay.

The hostel dorm is essentially a corridor where the lights are left on all night. Bed was super uncomfortable and generally a bad vibe for a female solo traveller - I moved because I did not feel comfortable.

This is a great location and price. Very secure with a simple check in and great service

Great hospitality there are steep steps on the way to the hostel which doesn’t make it very easy to get to with luggage but around the area there is very nice shops. They offer many great amenities like water and chopsticks, microwave and fridge. Showers and restrooms are nicely located but the light are on the outside. I had it a few times when someone outside accidentally turns off the light on me that was not good. Staff are really flexible.

i didnt love how exposed the beds are, ur basically stacked on top of each other in an exposed hallway and can hear everything. the hallway light wasnt turned off at night & the smell wasnt great. also there was no atmosphere, not social at all. the shower & bathroom was nice, and the hostel is close to chinatown which is convenient.

Safe with clean sheets and convenient check-in/out. The way air flows, the entire restroom and sleeping area smells like cigarette smoke.

At check-in, staff not always onsite or visible. No problem, unless you must pay/settle balance. Fantastic location for Chinatown or Motomachi shopping. Common area smells a bit funny, open areas allow voice to travel, fridge needs cleaning. Drinking water dispenser not always working. Stayed 3+ nights, same problems.

Great for price, but a bit small Check in was very difficult, ipad didn't work

I really enjoyed my stay at this bnb. He was very kind, and was very helpful! I next time I’m Yokohama I will definitely stay there:)

No employees, just a tablet. Very clean though and individual pod beds and little kitchen and nice balcony on a prime pedestrian mall. I do recommend but would've been nice if there were an employee.

I have some mixed feelings. Very good location and nice design whilst very clean. But I had a request and texted 3 times and to this day I never got a reply, which I think could end bad when you’re having issued in general, checking in (iPad), or the door. Also it’s quite the amount of beds which could lead to some trouble when there is no staff (reachable) at all. It’s on the second floor (3f) and only to reach by steep stairs - if you’re travelling rather heavy they’re probably nast...

It's conveniently located in Hiroshima Motomachi, so it's easy to access anywhere. They provide self check-in which is nice but can also be troublesome for people arriving late. Beds are fine and facilities are ok.

The hostel is called BnB, and doesn't have a Breakfast. The hostel only has a micro kitchen. No wash machine. The check-in is made outside in the building stairs with a really hot temperature.
