Bovisa Urban Garden

The hostel itself was great, very clean, had a really nice vibe in the restaurant. The location kind of sucks because it’s far from the center, 20 minutes by metro and it’s a fairly sketchy metro station closest to the hostel, so the area is slightly sketch. And to get to the Flixbus stop in lumpagano station it’s almost an hour and you have to go to the center first to go back in that direction since there is no direct line. Basically worth the money but you might spend more on uber.

This was one of my favourite hostels I have stayed in and was perfect for what I needed for the few days I was here. The atmosphere and happiness of everyone in the garden enjoying the sun made it very enjoyable, it far out from the centre but extremely easy to get to via the nearby train station.

Excellent place to stay near the Politecnico di Milano

Lovely atmosphere and hostel, great for a short stay in Milan. Shower was a bit dirty but other than that, no complaints. However benches to sit on outside were unsturdy and broke when we sat on them.

It was really nice. Beds had a curtain and there were no bedbugs. Room smelled a little funky but maybe thats just a hostel thing. It was in a pretty sketchy looking neighborhood but nothing happened to me.

Far from city center, pricey for a hostel, staff would not be around to buzz you in if you came back after midnight, would usually have to wait 15 minutes. No atmosphere, roommates would steal from you.

Covers the essentials. Staff neither friendly nor rude. Location neither great nor bad. Stayed in February, the dorm and bathroom were borderline cold. My dorm was clean. Nice location if you need the airport the next day.

Ostello semplice, economico ma gestito molto bene. Check-in 24h. Bistrot molto carino e la scelta tra cibo e bevande è varia e molto buona, dalla colazione al dopo cena, vegetarian e vegan friendly. Qualora non si volesse usufruire del bistrot, c'è una cucina a disposizione degli ospiti. Letto comodo e pulito. Collegato molto bene con i diversi mezzi pubblici. Un ringraziamento allo staff, sempre disponibile e cordiale! Consiglierei questo posto 👌

Great option to stay in Milan. Great facilities, friendly staff and easy access to public transport

Everything more than perfect, apart from the distance to the Metro (15 mins walking) that sometimes is tiring after a long or a rainy and cold day 100% recommended and I'm sure that if I go back to Milan, it'll be my first option

Would not book again. Bathrooms are dirty. Hair everywhere, towels laying around, wet floors, broken sinks, no toiletpaper. Super loud rooms with thin walls. Was not worth it, could get sleep at all. I stayed for two nights. Horrible.

If you’re debating between a hotel and a hostel, think twice. Loud roommates, noisy hallways, and a room that smelled so bad someone kept the windows open — in mid-November, with no heat. Cold in the room, loud utill 1am and unpleasant odor, not worth the saving$.

I am very glad I chose BUG and I’ll definitely come back next time I am staying in Milan ❤️

Stayed only one night; great security (key card entrance to rooms/room hallway); communal bathrooms (but they were clean); helpful staff; a bit of a walk from the center (and noisy surroundings on a Saturday night), but not anything terrible. Would recommend

I stayed just one night in Bovisa Urban Garden and it was certainly okay. The six people dormitory was clean and rather spacious. The bed I had was very comfortable. The bathroom facilities are great and clean at arrival, but guests don't seem to respect them a lot. There is a big outside terrace and a nice common room. Very friendly staff. The hostel is not located centrally but with more affordable prices. There are some really 'local' bars and restaurants in the neighborhood.

Very good over all. Weird that reception is on the other side of a restaurant. I wasn't sure if I could just sit at a table anytime iwanted without disrupting business.

Nice place, clean & the beds have curtains. However not very social & the bar is more for locals than solo backpackers
