Heel fijn hostel. Mooi centraal gelegen in het dorp en de host Kevin is ook super! Wil je overal bij helpen, heeft goede tips en heeft goede taxi voor ons geregeld naar het volgende plaatsje.

Loved this hostel! We wewent at off season and still had a great time. Kevin (host) couldn't do anymore for us, so so helpful. Such a clean and homely hostel. Highly recommend.

A small, all-female hostel with just one room. The beds are super comfortable and offer the privacy we all look for in a shared room. Everything is very clean, and if anything is missing, the host is happy to help. The host is a man, but he is very polite and respected our privacy completely. I enjoyed my stay so much that I ended up staying for 10 days!

Sehr toll. Es gibt nur ein Zimmer, daher ist alles etwas ruhiger und nicht ganz so social, aber top! Zur Ankunft eine Kokosnuss bekommen und alle waren sehr lieb. Einrichtung ist richtig schön, kostenloses Duschgel, Shampoo, etc. in der Dusche. Hostel befindet sich direkt an einem ATM und Supermarkt auf der Mainstreet. War super

Amazing hostel experience compared to others in the bay - very clean and secure with good quality curtains and bedding. We felt the safest here than any other hostel in Sri Lanka with big locked lockers. Only improvement would be a main key for the rooms. Would 100% recommend this hostel.

Parfait pour une femme solo qui aime le calme J’ai eu le droit à une cold coconut dès mon arrivée, les douches sont ultra agréables, il y a des rebords ou poser ses affaires, elles sont grandes, il y a du savon pour le corps; du shampoing et de l’après shampoing. Seul bémols, une seule des deux douches (pareil pour les toilettes) se ferme correctement. Mais c’est toujours très propres et ça sent bon. The Riptide Women’s Hostel is a true gem in Arugam Bay. It offers everything a woman could want or need. The place is super clean, beautifully furnished, and even provides shampoo and conditioner in the showers!! The location is great, only a short walk to the beach and Baby Point surf spot as well as to center. Kevin is the kindest host and always ready to help with anything. It was very quiet in the dorm and I could get perfect sleep. Can fully recommend, enjoy your stay here!

Great hostel! Nice atmosphere, the owners are very friendly. Sometimes it could be cleaned a bit more often, but if something is not fully clean and you tell them, they will clean immediately. They really try their best to make it a great place, which they succeed at. The hostel is pretty and there is attention to detail. Nice cafe at the front where you can chill

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit im Riptide Hostel. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt, hatten nette Begegnungen und haben super Tips für die Gegend bekommen. Bei Ankunft gab’s sogar eine Welcome-Coconut 🥥

Riptide women hostel is an amazing hostel with great staf. They really care about your stay here and make sure that you’re having a great time and feel comfortable. I loved being here and connect with other people staying here and the staff!

highly rec! I stayed here for three weeks! ☺️ the hostel is brand new, super clean, and the air-con keeps the room fresh and cool all day. Beds, curtains, and towels are clean, room’s and bathroom cleaned daily. The owners are so also welcoming and helpful. Ambiente confortevole e posizione centrale, perfetta per raggiungere cafe, spiaggia e ristoranti. Il proprietario, Kevin, è sempre disponibile a rispondere ad ogni richiesta. Letto molto comodo e bagni puliti. Nessuna nota negativa; tornerei domani!!!

The hostel is new and not yet on Google Maps, but it’s easy to find right by the main road. The staff are men, but very respectful, and only women sleep in the dorm. I felt really secure. You get two towels and a welcome coconut. The location is great. The hostel also has a café that serves really good avocado toast.

Top hostel!! Het hostel heeft bijna geen beoordelingen waardoor je misschien denkt dat het niet goed is, maar hele fijne kamers en een mooi hostel!

Loved my stay here! The dorm was spotless with comfy beds, privacy curtains, and a clean bathroom. The owner was so friendly — even gave me a free coconut on arrival! Easy to contact him via WhatsApp too. Great location, peaceful vibe, and though not super social, the people I met were lovely. Don’t be put off by the lack of reviews, it’s just new. I’d definitely stay again!

Insgesamt Preis - Leistung Top! Leider nicht wirklich ein soziales Hostel.. also wenn man nur einen Platz zum schlafen sucht, ist es super. Das Wasser ist extrem Eisenhaltig!!! Vorsicht mit hellen Textilien/ hellen Haaren 😬
