I love the Commons. Slept well. Kind staff.
We stayed in a private room and had a shared bath. It was a very quiet area as only staff members also use the "great room" area and bathroom, no other guests besides the two of us. The room is large enough to store some gear, and has a locked door for security. The staff members were helpful and friendly. Everything in the hostel is well taken care of and very clean. It takes about 15 minutes to walk to the closest downtown restaurant. I would stay here again without hesitation!

Great staff, good location for attending the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. Adding another bathroom upstairs would be a great addition.
Pretty standard hostel experience, except with beds in the common area (which makes it impossible to quietly use the common area for work in the middle of the night). Pleasantly surprised to be placed in an all women’s dorm.
Overal, a nice clean economical place to stay in Ashland. Attracts an interesting crowd!
