Freedom Hostel

the staff were so helpful and amazing, they truly made me feel at home. the breakfast was also fantastic. i highly recommend this hostel to anyone in Cairo!

The stay here was amazing and the staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. The breakfast is filling and definitely worth it and they also give good recommendations for things to do around town that are away from the regular tourist attractions. There was a fire started by another guest within the building staying at a different hotel but the people at freedom hostel handled everything with no complaints from me. Thank you so much!

Probablemente de los mejores hostales en los que he estado. Es pequeño y acogedor. Los recepcionistas Ahmed and Mohammed son la ostia te dan todos los consejos que quieras y hasta puedes quedarte hablando con ellos sobre lo que quieras. Mohammed habla Castellano e incluso un poco de Catalán, un fiera. Por la mañana unas señoras te preparan un desayuno como si fueran tu abuela egipcia. Y tienen aire acondicionado. 10/10

The location of the hostel is great, just in the heart of Cairo. The staff is super accomodating. Special thanks to Ahmet, Mohammed and Islam for making my stay very pleasant

Had a great stay, staff were so friendly and super helpful. Great location, easy to get around and very safe. Bit of a hike up the stairs and not a social vibe at all but the breakfast was delicious and we slept well.

emplacement au top dans le centre ville du caire. personnel super gentil, de bons conseils et disponible. lieu pouvant etre bruyant (contrepartie au bon emplacement). pas de lockers meme si nous nous sommes sentis en securite. lits confortables. pas de clim mais pas derangeant car aéré. prises electriques insuffisantes. service de navette avec l'aeroport.

Muy buen hostel!! Ambiente relajado, personal muy amable, servicio de cama y toalla todos los días, buen desayuno, el wifi funciona bien. No tiene lockers para poner candado pero nadie toca tus pertenencias Lugar para volver!!

I stayed in three hostels in Cairo, and Freedom Hostel was by far the best. The staff is incredibly kind, helpful, and multilingual. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with fresh towels provided whenever you want . Breakfast is simple but delicious, and essentials like hot showers and toilet paper are always available. Everyone there was amazing. I’ll definitely stay again if I return to Cairo! Thank you guys for making backpackers’ trips easier and unforgettable.

Our first time to Cairo, Eslam and his colleague Mohamad are very welcome us, they are so nice, so friendly and helpful. Their hospitality is superb! Location of hotel is good, near to a money exchange office and a great shop outside, Sinbad. Room is spacious and breakfast is yummy! We feel like home and we miss Freedom hostel and the staffs when we left. Thank you so much Eslam & Mohamad 🙏

Average… I didn’t find any hostel in Cairo is satisfying.

By far the most luxurious hostel I’ve stayed at in Egypt. The beds are comfortable with real duvets which is a blessing in the winter and I can not overstate how great the showers are (100% warm water and water pressure) and they were always clean, there was always toilet paper and they give you fresh towels. Together with the amazing staff and the central location, this place was just perfect! I can also really recommend this to solo female travellers, I felt very safe in the area.
